WOW! I was watching a video on something entirely unrelated and when it ended yours came on so I just continued to watch it. I continued through five of your videos. 😄 Couldn’t turn it off. I am absolutely fascinated by what you’re doing. You are a very personable young woman and I really enjoyed your videos. I love your dog. I too rescued a dog when he was a year old and he’s now nine. We bonded so tightly I don’t think I could ever imagine myself without him so I know what you must feel for Pippa. I watch you on TV but I couldn’t subscribe through TV so I am on my phone and was able to subscribe but I’m not sure if I will get a notice on my TV the next time you post. I live in the Las Vegas area and I know you haven’t been to Nevada yet but I would love to meet you. I really wish you the very best in your travels and I hope you stay safe. I will continue to watch your videos …they’re very fascinating.

Having to move into my car TOMORROW! I never thought I'd have to do this at the age of 63...but renting off of a landlord who refused to fix anything and then decided to kick me out has put me into a situation where that's what I have to do. Never being on my own and raising my kids then my grandchildren will be a hard and lonely time I think because I have always had someone around...and Because I couldn't find anyplace to move to within my budget (I only have my late husband's pension )...this is my only course of action. I've never been much of a camper, so this should be quite a challenge. But I'm trying to be optimistic about this and make the best of the situation. I know God will be with me, and so I trust in Him. I've watched several of your videos and I feel like I have some understanding of what's expected so thank you so much! God Bless you and little Pippa!

After a month I went into my home and totally had forgotten I owned this or that! I clean my RV in 20 minutes, that house was a day, not counting windows, etc. My three dogs love the RV as CB much as I. I opened the door to the house and the RV. They ran into RV and laid down. I got really sick and surgery needed. Coming home to RV was such a comfort due to size and low maintenance.

For insulin a refrigerator is good for that. Or a cold case that you can put in ice and not get wet. Not on the ice but in a net above it since it only had to be cold not freeze. Plus the pen insulin can stay good for 45 days not in refrigerator. So one at a time with a date and when hot put it in the ice chest or refrigerator.
@terrydavis52232 жыл бұрын
@@jaccourt9531 I use 1 Pen in 2 days. I am insulin Resistant. So it takes a lot of pens. Insulin pens require refrigeration until you spike the pen by adding a micro-needle. I just need a safe, constant way to refrigerate several boxes of insulin pens. I wish a pen could be kept at room temperature for 45 days. However, once spiked, the pen is actually good for up to 2weeks. But thanks for the encouragement , and I appreciate your kindness.🌞

Excellent advice Brooke. I had to live in a truck cab for five years and I was able to survive the worst winters and hottest summers. I found that I was able to live alone without being lonely. Now I retired from my nomadic lifestyle due to age and health problems. Guys UPS has mailboxes that look like a street address that you can use for federal mail.. it’s essentially A stealthy PO Box.. I suggest it for everyone, even renters who move frequently. Because you can just keep the same address instead of continually updating credit card info.. and shipping details.. I can’t remember what I paid for it but I paid 6 months at a time.. also you can receive packages that won’t fit in your mailbox because it’s a UPS store..

Excellent advice. I certainly tried out sleeping in my suv before going on a two week suv camping trip. I needed to try several different ways of positioning/layering my bed so it was doable. There was an issue with answering nature's call because my suv was so small - I'll have to figure this out. But the main issue was that I felt "homeless." It was like I was wandering from place to place, always being "out" and about, without a home base or anchor. I realize that the suv should serve that function, but it didn't for me. In part, it may be because the suv was so small and I didn't have any sitting room at the back. All I had was sleeping room and room for my stuff, essentially. I don't know how to address this issue...

My goal is freedom and travel! I'm 15 and spent my life in hospitals and toxic housing and so much shit and not being able to live my life or do a whole lot, still a child keep in mind, but it wasn't great and the one thing I loved doing was spending time with my service dog and hiking/camping. I traveled from Alabama to Colorado in a suv with me, my service dog (lab x mal), and my parents dogs (overweight gsd x aussie, and overweight husky x wolf) and there was still plenty of room (and I had luggage and a 40lbs dog food bag, and a couple bags) and it's was great and it wasn't even like good scenery or anything either it was staying in parking lots the entire time and this trip was 3 weeks. I will be working seasonal job, and I have an app (I believe it's I overlander, but I can't check while writing this, lol) that tells campgrounds around you and which ones are free and which ones have fees and what amenities they have ect. I have my 4 dogs (all task trained service dogs due to my disabilities) : Nirvana, 3 yrs, Labrador-malinois mutt, medium breed Zodiac, 2 yrs, American bulldog mutt, xl breed Whiskey, 2yrs, toy poodle mutt, xs breed And Versailles, 3yrs, chihuahua mutt, xs breed And they're all highly trained, and I already have a plan, which I'm sure will change lol, for my suv I have stuff, but I can take most of my stuff because I don't have a whole lot I'm taking my dovetailed chest with me and collapsible dog kennels in terms of furniture I'm getting a Coleman foldable bed for my bedding and keeping my clothes, shoes, sheets, etc My dog stuff, harnesses, collars, bowls, grooming supplies, supplements, food, and leads (because they're service dogs, they have harnesses that hold my meds they're pretty bulky) and well as my collapsible wheelchair, cane, and walker, will all be in the passenger seat. because again they're bulky lol My seats will be down, and the space between them and the floor is going to be my suitcase and chest with my clothing, toiletries, and shoes, and then that leaves the back to me were I'm putting the bed on one side (Twin bed) and having the kennels folded up underneath it. Then I'll have dog beds on the other side, but they tend not to use them anyway, lol But yeah! Really super excited to get out and about ya know! :D (And for all the concerned people in the comments: me and my dogs are really only going to be in the car if it's too cold, then they'll get enrichment treats, or if we are sleeping or moving and if we're moving they'll be kenneled for safety, don't worry I've gone on trips like this before and I know what I'm doing lol :])

Lord have mercy!! I bought a camper and have only been in it a few months and realize it's a bad idea. I'll have to stay in it a few more months. It's a lot of work because I don't live in a campground. Think twice before you do this.

I hope you don't mind but what size camper do you have and are you finding places to stay?

I lived in a house for 15 years in CT and there was no street mail delivery -we had to use a P.O. Box - Mail delivery or a mailbox was not an option-never had a problem with my taxes- driver’s license or tags - There was no street address Every document had our P.O. Box

I am on a couple of FB full time rv sites and there are companies that offer mail forwarding service that also give you an address.

I’m just wondering do you ever pay to camp. I agree with you about NC. I went to Oak Island this summer for a week and those people were total butt holes. I use to live in a tent down in Florida but paid to stay in a camp ground. It was nice.

Didn't you get a little pop up trailer a while back? Did you get rid of it? Thank you for sharing.

I need to save for a bigger car and would love to travel. I can’t see paying all this rent. But I’m the northeast it’s extremely hard to stay overnight anywhere.

I loved to do this! How do you keep cool on the summers scorching heat. I have asthma and high blood and my concern is the heat will make it worse. Thanks

I have heard you talk about steering clear of neighbors but also about great folks you have met. Would you tell us a bit about the etiquette of approaching/ avoiding socializing. Have you met folks who you will meet again/ made friends?

I meet my friends through the internet and then travel with them, I don’t walk up to people where I’m camping

I read that you can use a hotel address or even a homeless shelter if you don’t have anyone to use! I’m not sure if this is true, but I sure hope so! This is mainly for homeless people & so they can get an ID!
