Ben avg 18 points his senior year at Notre Dame and was the big east player of the year…he played professionally for 5 years although most of it was overseas and in the NBA G league and even though most of it wasn’t in the NBA don’t be fooled you absolutely need to be a highly skilled player to play professionally in those leagues (NBA stars like Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo got started international/overseas leagues)

@@vivek27789 It's probably more accurate to say he spent one season with Pacers since he didn't actually play/get on the court all that much when he was with them. I just looked it up and he only actually got on the court in 28 games and NBA teams played 82 regular season games and his average mins played when he did get in the game was 7 minutes. And you are correct Tyler was on the team with him that year. There is a pretty famous from that season where there was a hard and unnecessary foul that put Tyler on the ground and Ben ran in and got in the guys face.

@@vivek27789 You might be right that Ben took the hard foul Tyler got in his face...it's been a whole since I watched the clip. Either way they were both on the Pacers for the 2012-2013 season. This is not hate on Ben or anything. Nut it wasn't surprising that Ben struggled to make it in the NBA. He was always a very good shooter but not exceptional, he isn't freakishly fast and isn't freakishly athletic. Now combine that with him being 6 ft 3 and playing as a PG/SG he was fighting an uphill battle.
