Tip for the natural makeup, use only concealer as your base no foundation. And only use it under the eyes , on any breakouts, places you want to highlight and on red areas. That way your skin/ freckles aren’t being fully covered🫶🏻 hope this helps.

Brookie!! I’m a makeup artist, and for a more no- makeup makeup look, the best advice I could give is to change the AMOUNT of product you’re using/applying at one time! It’s not that it looks bad or cakey whatsoever, it’s just the more product you use, the more full coverage it’s going to be. Remember you can always keep applying more as you build your base, but once you have too much on it can be hard to undo 🙏🏻💕 If you want a more natural look, you definitely want to pick out face products that are more natural/sheer to begin with, which it seems like you did. But even something full coverage when applied so lightly and intentionally can look like skin, if you just start with the teeniest tiniest little amount, and really buff it in. Like when you started, the brush was a good choice, but the amount of product you used for your forehead probably would have been enough product for your whole face for a look that’s more natural! Especially if you want those beautiful freckles of yours to shine through!! 💕 You can even definitely still wear some really fine translucent powder as well-just same advice. Put the smallest amount on a large fluffy brush to start, and really tap all the excess off and just lightly press/buff it into your face. Just the lightest dusting of powder until you feel matte enough for your liking. If your face coverage is natural/sheer too, you shouldn’t need a ton of powder anyway to keep it set, but it’ll help to keep the products from sliding all over the place, and still keep you looking natural and fresh. 🙏🏻 I also agree that for a super natural look that really might appeal to you, you can just skip the base entirely and only put concealer in key areas you really want to conceal or highlight, and then buff that out to keep your skin looking super natural. Leave areas of your skin out that you like completely and don’t apply any product in those places. Leave those spots totally to breathe (like the skin by the freckles on your checks) which is healthier for you skin overall, a faster routine, and really contributes to the illusion that you’re not wearing makeup, and then maybe just apply a tiny touch of cream product if you want (blush, highlight,bronzer) to amplify the natural skin health, and glowiness. And with just the touch of concealer and cream products really tapped into the skin, you should be able to forego the powder entirely. Either way thank you for coming to my Ted talk lol you literally look 100% gorgeous and flawless all the time no matter what you do like a Greek goddess and that is all. 😂😂 Love you queen, good luck! as a "no-makeup" makeup girly that has to set her face with powder because of oily skin: use a good setting spray after! i use the urban decay all nighter and it makes my face look more glowy and moisturized 💧 highly recommend it, even for heavy makeup days unless you want to go for a matte look ofc

I used to wear a full beat every day, and I still can’t go single day without doing my brows and lashes but now I only wear concealer no foundation. I use it to cover up my dark circles and redness around my nose and chin. Any spots on my cheeks, unless they are major, I leave them. I only wear blush or bronzer on the rest of my face. And I love pinks on me so I’ve been wearing blush as eyeshadow since before it was a trend, it looks really natural. it’s all about getting more comfortable with the natural flaws of your skin and letting them show
