If you remove the packaging out of the box &/or put it in freezer bags if it doesn’t have inside packaging, it’ll save you a lot of room in the freezer! That’s what I do & I have a lot less room than you! You’ll figure it out the more you buy groceries 💜

i had a similar issue but my fridge situation was worse lesson learned: always open the fridge when touring apartments. the situation that happened to me with my apartment is that my fridge was a standard size fridge, perfect right? why would i open it when seeing the apartment? …well the counter across from the fridge was too close to where the fridge door doesn’t open all the way… not even halfway smh🤦‍♀️huge design flaw of the kitchen but of course the leasing consultant isn’t going to point that out to you. i was deceived!

Next time when u get apartment check every crevice. Check the stove, lights, water make sure it get hot enough. And always do a final walkthrough in the evening or morning whenever u did the walkthrough do the opposite time of it( if u went in the morning go in the afternoon for ur final walkthrough

that fridge size looks fine for just one person living there but that freezer is on the small side ngl. however, im sure you can just get the amount of frozen food you will eat that week and fit it fine. most people go grocery shopping every week anyway. and if you don’t want to grocery shop every week, then you can get groceries delivered since you’re so used to postmating every meal anyway. you can clearly afford it and you’ll even be saving money by getting groceries delivered vs. postmating every meal

the freezer def has enough space for one person’s frozen food, the design of it was just goofy, it should’ve had open shelves. but regardless you can always buy a second freezer and put it in the garage or something, and lots of frozen food can be put in the fridge if you’re gonna eat it in the next few days

to me, everytime I visit family in the US the size of things just baffles me 😂 everthing is huuge, roads, lawns, cars and yes freezers. your freezer would be enough for a whole family of 4. I think we cook with fresh ingredients more over here, most people dont buy frozen food apart from frozen veg, fruit, ice cream or pizza.

I'm from 🇨🇦 & we have our fridge/freezer in the kitchen & also a full stand up freezer in the basement. It really doesn't take long to fill a freezer. We have a garden & like to freeze beats, peas, beans etc. We also have lots of meat in which we've bought, divided into portions, and froze. Also shopping at Costco contributes to lack of freezer space lol. We also have a cold room that stores extra shelf stabe food.
