Brooklyn Borough Board Meeting- December 5, 2023

The Borough Board consists of the Borough President's Office, Council Members representing the borough, and the chairs of all the community boards in the borough (who may vote only on matters directly affecting their community districts).
The Borough Board has the power to initiate and review comprehensive or special purpose plans for the borough and is responsible for preparing a comprehensive statement of expenses and capital budget priorities for the borough as well as mediating any disputes between community boards.

I heard Michael Answer for Community Board 18. Attendees were directed to respond with their name if they were 'not' the usual attendee for the meetings. I am thinking Michael attended the meeting to see if there was a complaint regarding his vile behavior. The fact that the issue has been ignored explains why Sue Ann Partnoe, Michael Ien and Paul Curiale are so comfortable engaging in malfeasance and misconduct. I am absolutely disgusted with Carol-Ann Church because I personally expressed the complaint to her. Her response was, "I don't have any authority over the Community Boards', meanwhile, her 'title' is 'Director of Community Boards'. The way I was treated including being denied to speak at a public meeting during the time allocated for the public to speak and had the microphone turned off leads me to believe that if I looked different, I would not have been treated in such a disrespectful and vile manner. The officials at the Brooklyn Borough President's Office would have looked into the matter and consequences would have been served. Unfortunately, people who 'look like me' believe that I am not worthy of respect.
