I am completely impressed. You know, I'm not a classical music person but I am. I don't know all the industry lingo and I don't read music. My son's amazed me with elementary school clarinet and flute. I took a music appreciation course and it was - kind of boring but appreciated knowing a few concepts. Bottom Line - I love music. I'm in awe at the talent and ability of people to make these instruments sound beautiful. At them and there instruments becoming part of eachother. ALL the sounds. I love focusing on one. Then another. Then another. Then hearing all. It's ZEN. A full experience. It requires attention but it's easy. It's not work. It's "A Get Away" "A Vacation" THANK YOU. And I love reading your notes. Well we decided to take the kids and grandkids to a fancy hotel for a weekend and a catered dinner. The hubster didn't particularly like the idea of renewing our vows. He said he meant it the first time and didn't need to say them again! Ha!! But we still had a beautiful cake and the kids and grandkids liked having us for a whole weekend. BUT, saying that...when my granddaughter gets married (she just graduated college) I am going to suggest using this beautiful tune for her and her man. I'll get that music into some type of ceremony by hook or by crook. Didn't think I would answer with a novel did you?

To me, the Piano represents pureness, beauty and freedom. The instrument sounds like how it would feel like to look back at all of your life/obstacles and realize how much you’ve grown. The Cello, to me, represents passion, hope and courage. That although we’re in hardship, we stand regardless. A cry of hope that the burden we carry while here on earth will one day be lifted. Both are beautiful in their own way..

Wenn ich mir hier einen Lieblings Musiker oder Musikerin auswählen würde, dann wäre es definitiv Marnie Laird. Ich habe Klavier nie wirklich gemocht sondern bin eher der Celloliebhaber. Habe auch auf der Suche nach Cellostücken, dass Brooklyn Duo erst entdeckt und genau hier habe ich das Klavier so lieben gelernt. Marnie Laird spielt einfach perfekt. Jeder Tastenschlag kommt zum richtigen Zeitpunkt, mit der richtigen Kraft und richtigen Lautstärke. Sie ist mit dem Herz und der Seele dabei und zieht mich mit ihrem Talent völlig in den Bann. Das ist mir beim Klavier noch nie passiert... Die anderen machen auch einen super Job! Für mich sticht das Klavier halt raus, weil ich es vorher nie so richtig wahrgenommen habe. Sie gehört definitiv zu den ganz großen👍
