As a conservative it’s absolutely one of my favourite things to see, because it proves you don’t have to force “progressive” characters and ideas, but you can instead let them flow naturally and have it just be a part of their personality. Andre touched my soul as Frank Pembleton, I cried many nights after watching ''Homcide'' in the 90's as a teenager. I was deeply affected and touched by the human tragedy enfolding before me, by the artistic height attainable to human being that calls himself an artist. That goes for the every segment of that show - writing, acting, directing, music, cinematography... ''Homicide'' was grounded in reality and I was a refugee and a teenager that grew up in war zone and was forced to flee for its life in ex YU.
