I 💗 your vlogs!!! I had such a blast yarn crawling with you last weekend (so glad we didn't let the rain stop us haha!)! The weekend also left me feeling so recharged and energized about my knitting ☺ can't wait to see all your summer tops come to life! Your new yarns are gorggggg

Thank you thank you!! And same, I'm happy we braced the distance and the rain ☺️ Hoping for lots of knitting time in the next weeks so I / we can cast on all the summer tops

🇩🇰Hello here from Denmark. So nice yarn crawl. Have only been to yarn festival, not much of yarn crawl here where i live. I allways use magic loop on my sleeves. You can make them before you knit the rest of the sweater. I just find banana socks and knit them now. I dont think i go back to knit socks on the old way again. Love to see more podcast from you ❤️🇩🇰

Hi, welcome, and thank you for your kind words! A yarn festival sounds really fun as well, and great that you've found a sock pattern that works well for you (:

Great podcast. Regarding circulars for sleeves, I also use 16” / 40 cm needles but with fairly short sticks. Works fine, also down to 50 stitches on the cumulus blouse.
@pagesandpurls Жыл бұрын
Yes, right, I also used the short tips otherwise it might be a too large circumference. I think the cumulus blouse has closer fitting sleeves than most other sweaters on my list, so it should work for those

Ahh! Your radish sock color combo looks so so nice! And as for audiobooks, I too got into it a lot lately and have been going through at least two books per week!

@@pagesandpurls I just finished Alone with You in the Ether and really enjoyed it, but I mostly listen to fantasy and romance and am a fair bit new when it comes to books haha :DD

Oh, so you've got lots of nice things to discover (: I've only read The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake but have been wanting to read more of her books. Good to know that the audiobook of that is good!

The podcast I watched just before yours was from a German knitter (Marlene Knits) who was reading the new Emily Henry book! I need to check out these books
@pagesandpurls Жыл бұрын
Oh yes her books are so good ! Would definitely recommend, and if audiobooks are your thing, Emily Henry’s books are read by my favourite narrator, so they’re really good to !!

@@pagesandpurls I just looked up-Julia Whelan is so good!!! I most recently listened to her in I Have Some Questions for You by Rebecca Makkai, which was really good.
