When you arrived at the base camp and showed Mindy crying, I started crying too, because you could just see how emotional it was and what a great but also exhausting and instructive experience it was. @@MaddieRoloffshe talked about it on Instagram stories, but she had a cyst on her bladder that caused a lump and she discovered it before Everest. She had surgery when she got back but the altitude and exercise from the trip actually helped get rid of it

Having really bad health anxiety, the immediate thought I had when you initially said you were doing this was “omg what would you do if you got sick!” I am amazed at all of your willpower and endurance to push through that and continue the climb. It's a great experience for you all & yes, things might make everyone appreciate things in life a bit more now - I learned a lot when I did 23 months volunteering during the hostilities in Bosnia & Croatia years ago - a few others ended up leaving early, mostly because they couldn't handle the level of facilities & lack of the things they were used to. Quite a few times we just had a splash of cold water from our drinking water allocation & a washcloth to have a 'soldier shower' no wipes. So ya, the first time you get a real shower, it's pure joy. well done.

The amount of emotions I felt watching this video is indescribable. I can't even imagine taking on an adventure that arduous. I commend all of you for committing and accomplishing that trek.
