What? Billy Beane turned down the Red Sox after 2002, when the Sox were still cursed, not winning a World Series since 1918. The Red Sox also fired their GM. KD went to GS coming off the greatest regular season in NBA history with an already loaded roster that had won a championship the year before. KD going essentially guaranteed Golden State at least 1 more championship (now 2). This is comparing apples and oranges
