First rate teacher. Clear, articulate, knowledgeable. He both helps us understand Koepka's swing and shows us what we mere mortals should work on.

Brook confirms with this lesson why he is one of the very best golf teachers on KZbin. Wish I lived in Naples so I could take lessons in person.

As someone who has struggled with creating a proper turn on the backswing, that little clip of Sammy Snead was a beautiful illustration of how it's done. Now if I could only duplicate his ballstriking...

Just found this channel, really liked how you presented this. I'm really interested in Brook's swing as it always seems so powerful yet effortless. Even as a competitive powerlifter I dont think I have the forearms for this lol, but, going to give these drills a try, ty.

Good lesson Adam. Especially pointing out how Brook's right knee and side does not straighten at all. That isn't good. Snead is much much much better. In fact, Snead won 82 PGA tournaments. Brooks maybe has 9 now. Snead was incredible. Brook's is just okay. Average. Never will be remembered as a super star in the ranks of Hogan, Palmer, Player. Nicklaus or Woods. Thank you for your efforts in teaching people the proper swing and pivot. ! ⛳

Thanks for the analysis. Can the last drill you showed be used to help with casting? Do you have any videos specifically for casting? Thanks again.
@Scratchgolfacademy5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it would be good for casting. I have several videos at the channel regards lag, and the transition. Hope you find them helpful. Best, Adam

Great video I have one question in your opinion do you think brooks hurt his knee because of the little amount of hip turn he does because to me that looks very stressful on his lower body I like how you showed Sam Sneads swing more hip turn more freedom in the swing
@Scratchgolfacademy3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Paul. Likely that any injury to his knee was either downswing related, or more likely work out related. I don’t know. All the best, Adam

When i bump or slide, it feels like its preventing me from clearing the left hip... any drills on that. Maybe i have too much lateral move

Hard to say without seeing you swing. I'd film yourself on your phone and see if what you are feeling is really what's happening. Hope this helps. Best, Adam

Great video. The switches between analysing and drill is a really good idea. But your website keeps redirecting me to a very suspicious add. I cannot visit the startpage.

i think brooks swing is very hard to copy for the masses. not a good example unless you have the strength and flexibility that he has. brooks is very unique

I would tend to agree. Best, Adam

How is he able to bow his wrist so hard and still hit a fade? I get the concept, face open to path, but I'd think his club face would be so shut that hed hook it or at best pull it...but him and DJ never do that...the only explanation is hes able to rotate his hips through so fast that even with that crazy closed faced the path at impact is so far left that his face is still somehow open to the path???
@Scratchgolfacademy5 жыл бұрын
That's right. Physically strong, fast hips, rarely hits a hook. Best, Adam
