We Have Never Seen a Mini Golf Course Like This!

At the age of 66, I played my first round of miniature golf on a real mini-golf course, for the first time ever just this past weekend. The last time I played, it was almost 40 years ago, on a simple 9 hole course that was part of a company picnic area, not available to the public. My brother and I took our mother, who will be 90 in a couple months, to a course that's in view from the assisted care home she lives in now. Mom and Dad used to go to Ocean City every summer, and they'd always play miniature golf there at least once each trip. This course, being relatively new, and on the side of a hill, isn't nearly as long as the one in this video. Despite her age, and advancing dementia, she did well. Most of the holes are par 2, and she got some pars. We didn't keep score. It was just for her to have fun, and she had fun.

Feels like you could really benefit from learning to put some side spin (english) on the ball at times Brooks! - If the ball was spinning clockwise when you bounce it off the right rail, it would not come out so far, and would continue making more forward progress faster. Just like in billiards. Love a lot of the courses you both play. I didn't even know that many miniature golf courses were left around!
