That was fun. Your Mom really struggled on this one. I think sometime when you really want a challenge when you’re playing with your Mom and Dad, hit 1, 2, 3 on every shot on every hole!!! It would make for some really good laughs and really high scores, plus there isn’t that advantage of whoever shoots last knowing how the greens roll. I think it would be super entertaining and your Dad would love it. Or maybe it would cure him if ever wanting to do it again!!!

Just to let you know. If you got the ring you wouldn't make it in a normal hole also. The inner part of the ring is the edge of a normal whole. So it would just lip out the same way on a normal hole

That's 90% correct, sometimes the ring extends above the surface. But, yeah, the rings are mostly in her head.

Can I ask why always when the whole looks easy and simple brooks goes first. But when it looks a bit more to it he always goes last. It should be the person who does best on hole goes first next one. I think it's kind of way to get an advantage when a hard looking one comes along he goes last so he can see what other people do so he has a idea of how to do it.

If you can't find your ball within three minutes, it is considered "lost". If a ball is lost or out of bounds, the player must take stroke-and-distance relief by adding one penalty stroke and playing the original ball or another ball from where the previous stroke was made. This is the rule, and it will hold fast in any competitive play . . . as for casual play, I wouldn't have a problem if no penalty is incurred for a "lost" ball. If an obstacle "eats" a player's ball, then it is difficult to place blame on the player. However, not everything the player does in any competitive sport is always as intended. There is always some element of luck involved. Yet, an obstacle "eating" a ball is somewhat different than a ball that bounces out of bounds. On hole #16, "Dad's" ball goes out of bounds, stroke-and-distance relief will apply here. "Dad" did not incur any penalty because Brooks states it wasn't his fault that his ball went out of bounds, but is it ever anyone's intended fault for their ball to go out of bounds, or in other words, does any player ever intentional play their ball to go out of bounds? Okay, at some point, somewhere, some players (likely in a pissed off mood) will intentionally shoot their ball out of bounds, but they are no longer playing on a competitive level, so for sake of argument, let's assume any semi-serious player will not shoot their ball intentionally out of bounds. Does that mean there should be no penalty for leaving the playing area? No, of course not! It's part of the game. Of course it is Brooks', and his family's, game so they are entitled to play how they wish, and make adjustment to the rules. I just don't want any players that might come up and challenge me to a money game thinking the rules are different than what they are. Now, I could maybe see not incurring a penalty for a ball that exits the playing area at the handicapped wheelchair relief where there is no side barrier except for about an inch of concrete sidewalk slab . . . maybe. Luck is still an element, and you must play according to the rules, and luck, playing your ball where it lies. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zp7Hd6yAbsuLiZY Extended scene version for those who care to watch: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZyYiJyHjLSLqrs
