I'm going to take a wild punt at your top 2. Obviously I'm most likely going to be wrong, but just for fun I'm taking a guess at the Sharongate story in EastEnders and the Nat & Georgia story in Brookside for your top 2 soap stories ever. I'm also tempted to say the Who Shot Phil story in EastEnders and the Richard Hillman story in Coronation Street, but I'll stick with my first guesses. How right or wrong am I?

@@97channel Who shot Phil & Sharongate is deff up there. But one of my personal favourites, even though it wasn’t as big as those two was Steve Owen trying to get away with killing Saskia & bringing Matthew Rose along with him. That story was a masterclass from beginning to end & it doesn’t get talked about enough in my opinion. I dunno what my other one would be. It’s hard. But I’ll say sharongate off the top of my head. The jordache story gives anything a run for its money though.
