Brooksville has been a controversial town on this channel. I was the first to put it on a WORST PLACES in FLORIDA LIST and NOW, they are all copying me, so its official. Not because I hate the town, but because it's true. I was able to get into TWIGG ST because it was EARLY in the morning and as we know, Gangsta aint gonna be up at 9AM.. LOL - They was up till late doing what they do. So it was quieter than usually due to the early time. Well, COMING SOON: The NICE parts of BROOKSVILLE.. so don't come on here talking bout "You makin our town look bad" I ant said one word on this video.. let the viewers draw their own conclusions. But yes we will show you guys the BEST and NICER things of BROOKSVILLE because to be honest it does have some awesome country vibes and historic downtown. SADLY I forgot to do the historic homes but we did do some good stuff. It's got amazing district for older homes, We were on a tight schedule so, we will be back.

They restored the main hood into luxury apartments. But the story behind this is was that the housing authority just got tired of spending money to maintain it so they moved everyone out and listed it for sale. The big 60 building units sold to an investor and now it’s laundry apartments. They got it for under 2 million.

I have a few friends that live in Florida who claim that they have moved to “Paradise”. Most of them are in Central Florida or along the east Coast. It looks like the city leaders of Brooksville have forgotten its residents because this certainly does NOT look anything like paradise. It appears to have remained stagnant over several generations with no progress towards modernization. However, from what I observed on this video, even when someone is poor, there is no excuse in not keeping your home and property clean. I know; I grew up in public housing (aka, the projects) within New York City. Not the best surroundings, but our apartment was always clean. The residents of Brooksville should do the same.
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS4 жыл бұрын
no these people not clean, you go to the store people smell bad and got dirty clothes.. strains and stinky. really trashy out there. and inside even nastier. i know exactly what you mean were cuban i know people back home with dirt floors but they sweep it daily. brooksville has good areas too. videos for that coming soon.

FLORIDA HOOD VLOGS -> That’s sad. However, Brooksville is not unique in that sense. Although a change in local government, along with extra state/county funds $$, would be a start towards improvements.

@@samiraziz7840 Agreed. There is also a surprising amount of corruption in our local government as well.
@samiraziz78404 жыл бұрын
Andrew S - Unfortunately, corruption only invites neglect, criminal activity, and a host of other undesirable outcomes. Unless the mindset of the people change, those responsible within Brooksville will become “lifetime” officials instead of elected/term officials along with the city government positions they hold.

You just played with your life. Nyc murder rate is 3/100k … a small town in rural Florida called Trenton just north of you reported a murder rate of 110/100k. Do you understand this isnt new york city? The south is segregated you going into a black area can cause a race riot in your town that could get people killed?

@@mannyc8771 where are you at now? it comes down to is you current place better or worst. ITS COUNTRY OUT THERE. Why don't you VISIT first? ask them to let you VISIT the place first. not all "opportunities" are opportunities. I personally dont like that area specially with children. lookk at GOOGLE MAPS, and see the houses, streeets. look up KZbin VIDEOS ABOUT THE TOWN. I have not been there in many years so my opinion could be outdated. But that region of Florida is not good, the economy is bad, housing is very affordable. its definately not a desireable location, its some small town along I'10.. poor places dont expect good schools or things to do. Sometimes those towns have pretty downtown but when you hit backstreet its another story. Tell your company you have to visit the place first. to make sure its safe for your family.
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS4 жыл бұрын
do this, go on GOOGLE Earth and look at the HOUSING situation in this town. Its NOT PRETTY. spend a good deal of time, not just downtown, look at church street, north street. South Blvd,.. the towns housing situation should let you know its a very poor place. However, its CHEAP so if the pay is good... you could save up alot of money. But, the housing speaks volumes of how poor the place is. spend an hour on google earth.. see the residential areas.. its all poor
