There are seven players on a quidditch team and it's a good idea to have a spare. Plus, if you decide to have a pick-up quidditch match on the spur of the moment, you can't assume everyone brought their own broom.

You need different style brooms for different cleaning situations. I'm sure he puts mops in there, too. Also, the family that cleans together, stays together, so sometimes you need more brooms so your family can help you clean.

it's awesome that you allowed room for high capacity dust pans. Now I wish I would have gotten a bigger broom closet, my broom handles bang together as well as my dust pans. I have a quiet broom and it has a longer handle.

Glad you made this video. I have been wrestling with the inside of my broom stick safe for years and never happy with any layout. Those safe stats are a joke like wine fridges. Holds 46 bottles. Sure it does.. Also love how creative you got with the wording on the email.

I love the out front design! My BrOOM safe causes me fits when I am looking for the feather dusters which ended up in the back after using the BrOOMS designed for much larger debris created by my Buck Bros chisels.

Funny thing is, I actually do need a practical way to store 6 pushbrooms, a couple of warehouse brooms, 4 whisk brooms, and half a dozen foxtails, along with 8 dust pans so that the kids can easily store them at the end of clean up time. In theory, we also disinfect all the workbenches at the end of class so the same cabinet needs to hold spray bottles and a place to stash both the clean and the used Huck towels. The push brooms are the worst to deal with. They just end up tossed in a corner if they get put away at all, and the handles are too long to fit in an organizer like this one. Seriously though, if you are going to market this, I think you need to make accommodations for two-pipers. My over and under would fit, but I'd have to butcher up the notches somewhere to accommodate the side by sides

Made a much smaller holder for a cabinet 12” wide. Put in 1/2 panels on the sides and the shelves slide into half depth notches that locked it together and against the walls. It’s only the lower half so it was a small, quick project to add shelves with notches that match the factory ones. I have my hand brushes in zipper pouches to grab n go. Really like being able to zip them up and not worry about them.

6:45 You're so right, Jay, the plastic cases for the handbrushes are just wasted space - and of all the safes I've come across, very few come with individual handbrush organizers. I have so many different handbrushes for competitive handbrushing, without an organizer, they end up remaining in those plastic cases just sucking up valuable space. Plus, I didn't realize how many different over and under broomsticks for competitive clay (the type that really needs a lot of sweeping up afterwards) that I've collected over the years. This is definitely something I'm interested in! Great idea!

This is great!! Maybe instead of the whole organizer being a product, you sell temples to make the brOOM stick slots. Then one could customize their organizer for the various sizes of safes and still have great looking brOOM stick holders!

I’ve never been into collecting brooms and I think I’ve only tried using a broom once in my life. Same thing goes for the hand brush. However, I’m saving this for reference later because the world is getting messy and I think it’s about time to take a course on broom safety and start learning how to correctly use a broom. I’ll probably start with a hand brush.

Now if you design your broom stick safe organizer to be able store the hand brooms in there holster other than laying flat,, not good for leather ones. you got a product for sure

So the brooms with metal handles may not like touching that MDF especially if there was any moisture on them. I know my brooms appreciate being hugged with some carpet or material that won't scratch or allow moisture to stay on them. Great concept!

I love the project and the Idea. I think it's a great CNC kit pack. I would buy plans but would more than likely never build it. If I thought the price was right. I would purchase the kit. Maybe this is something you could offer up at certain times of the year so you could manage your time. Or maybe share the design with someone like Glimpse inside who is really about building products for CNC with proper adjustments for your effort. Great idea. Yes very interested. lol

I've now gone down the broomstick rabbit hole after seeing Jay’s walnut broomstick and realizing his critique of blue plastic handles. He is so right!!! I went and counted my brooms and hand brushes (I need quite a few). But I'm at a loss. Walnut looks excellent, but wouldn't an ebony or zebra wood broomstick look better? What about curly maple or white oak? I can't decide, but I'm sure I'll never keep my blue plastic handles again!
