Hi Rob. I know Brooms Head. Just a little south from IIuka, where I am now. It's great to see some of these places without tall unit block developments. The caravan park is on prime waterfront development land. Sadly one day, I fear that development will win over again, as it has in many other places along the coast. Until then, Brooms Head is a lovely old school settlement to visit. Just like Iluka.

Thanks for the tour. Did they lose a lot of beach during T/C Oma or is it always like that? Also, what's your total GVM with the van and fuel consumption on a trip down highway like that.

Mondo Hamster Hey mate. TC Oma didn’t effect it when I was there, They have a section where there are no rocks protecting the beach and I fear it will eat away the land sometime soon. I’ll check the GVM again and let you know later.

Pretty sure most people can use Google maps and type Brooms Head into it.
