tbh intelligence test have different definitions of inteligence. A comprehensive test will most probably test for both types of intelligence, what he called "smartness" vs "intelligence", in reality they are called "fluid" intelligence and "crystallized" intelligence.

The short little tests that they take are not real IQ tests. A real IQ test takes multiple hours, is administered by a professional, and often very expensive. It's also not just a bunch of pattern recognition questions. There are a wide variety of questions that present different kinds of problems to study a range of problem solving skills. These scores might reflect a vague ranking of intelligence among them, but they no way indicate their real IQ levels.

These guys seem so much more down to earth than the other people who ranked each others IQs. They had a wider range of scores and more accurately ranked each other despite having lower scores for the most part than the other people. I was impressed how each one kept saying, “You must be smarter than me, you move up” and this seemed to happen at least three times. These guys aren’t as intellectual as the other group but seem socially smarter

I've taken official proctored in-person tests and the online Mensa test, and the types of questions are pretty much the same for both. There's really not any practical difference between the online and in-person tests. The difference is really just the testing environment

They had me take an iq test when i was admitted to a hospital and it took at least a solid 24 hours or more (spread out over a week). Even with that I don’t agree with the result (it’s too high imo), I just can’t see how these online/simple computer tests can be accurate tbh

If the “IQ test” really was only 35 questions and self-administered it was a meaningless test. IQ cannot be adequately measured unless administered by a psychologist using one of the standardized tests like WAIS-IV. It would be interesting to see a video where they actually correctly measure their IQ.

Well obviously they don't have that as an option, they're making a Jubilee video, they do with what they have. These tests still measure problem solving skills and give you some form of a number to go off. Also based on the conversations with the group the test did seem to be sort of accurate, the guy in the white definitely did seem like he was below average intelligence, and the two guys who got the highest scores definitely seemed like the smartest. I have no idea how people like the guy in the white tank top even get accepted into college.

IQ is a GREAT predictor of success. Jordan Peterson has a great presentation explaining this. The questions in the IQ tests have been refined specifically for how well the score correlates with success.

Most frats have a negative stigma for a reason. Having lived with a frat roomate at one point in college, they are cesspools with a ton of drugs and alcohol problems and school's do their best to cover up anything bad they do cause their families are usually loaded and donate to the school. Yeah. That sucks. It might even be everwhere...women being assaulted pretty often. And status quo political policies are all enabling this behaviour. So many cracks and gaps to fall through. Trying to do whatever one can to take care of themselves can never feel enough yet what other option is there? Nah. I was administered an IQ test by my school for entrance to the gifted program and it took less than 3 hours. Was the most recent (at the time) form of the Stanford-Binet administered by the school psychologist. Stanford-Binet is widely regarded as one of the most accurate IQ tests. Certainly didn't take a whole day, much less two.

these online tests are obviously inaccurate; genuine IQ tests take 5ish hours to complete, are proctored, and they test everything from verbal IQ to sensory, short-term, working, and long-term memory. HOWEVER, getting 92 on an online test is definitely something. If that guy were to take a genuine IQ test, he'd probably score lower than his online score since the online test scores (even through Mensa) are hyperinflated.

The biggest problem with Mensa online test is that it only makes you do one kind of task (patterns), hence it only measures your capabilities regarding that field. Furthermore it's very easy to get an alright score since when you get to the more complicated tasks you can simply guess between the two most likely answers

This was not a legitimate IQ by any means with it being 35 questions and the questions not actually encapsulating the many necessary parts of IQ. Also achieving a score above 140 is less than a 0.4% and selecting and random group of guys with scores that aline with the mean and median those 6 guys is also an insurmountably low 21 IN 10,000

Mensa norway is one of the better matrix reasoning tests you can take. The reason it is so much shorter is because it only measures matrix reasoning which is a subtest of an index of a real IQ test. Doesn't mean it isn't valid or meaningless, just that you are getting a microcosm of your true ability. That being said, matrix reasoning is one of the two most highly g loaded subtests, and is therefore statistically likely to be pretty close to your actual full scale IQ score. The test actually holds up quite well in terms of its norms and if anything is slightly deflated for most due to some selection bias during the norming process. Keep in mind that almost everyone on the planet, including yourself, is not obsessed enough with IQ testing to really understand the first things about it. (Enter me, the OCD psychologist that does this for a living)
