A buddy of mine got sucked into one of these stupid MLM companies when we were in our early 20s, and he isn't even dumb. Dude's a research pharmacist now ffs with a dream job. The pyramid scheme co became his life. It was a really shitty time in our friendship and even now that he's out of it he seems slightly in denial with regards to what that shit was really about.
