The mother did not pass the placenta after birth so she died of sepsis. When a female gives birth (humans included) but the placenta is retained it will lead to death from blood poisoning. The placenta essentially decomposes internally and causes massive infection leading to septic shock.

This is Queen Amaris younger sister, Dolly (or eldest daughter, either one) She took over as Queen of Amari Troop when Amari (& her youngest baby Lori) left for the Tamao Sanctuary. Amari was going blind and in pretty bad shape, dying from complications from diabetes & losing so much weight. She was skin & bones, and blind... very sad. Amari held her own, like a boss, and fought off an entire troop of opposing monkeys at the temple - she was surrounded by like 25 monkeys and never backed down. She actually did damage to a few of them. But sadly, Amari got knocked off of the second story platform of the temple, as Lori was holding on to her stomach, and they both fell & got severely injured. Lori got massive head trauma (not her first time, either) and was flailing around, falling all over the place. The VO's actually put her onto a table & she rolled off, and landed on her head....again. Amari was blind, dehydrated and basically skin & bones. They were then taken to the Tamao Zoo & Sanctuary. Amari lived on for a few months, where she ate tons of great food, to her hearts content, made friends & argued sometimes with her loud Squirrel Monkey neighbors, and even snuggled to keep warm at night, making a very happy Lori. She passed away a few months later, while Lori surprisingly healed up & recovered rather nicely - she is a little brain damaged, but she walks, climbs, can hear & see and knows whats going on. Alot of the orphaned & injured monkeys (like Heidi, Amy, Axel, Sabrina, etc) were rescued & brought up there to live at the sanctuary from the temple area.❤ (Sadly, Heidi died, though.) Lori is now the "Queen of the Misfit Troop," acting as a big sister to all of the temple orphans.😊 When the remainder of the Amari troop were rounded up for a cull a few years ago (males like Sweet Pea, Jack, Brutus Jr, Timo, etc.) supposedly, some of them were also brought to the Tamao Zoo & Sanctuary, so it now holds a huge part of the original Amari Troop. (Supposedly) :( Anyway, I think Dolly was poisoned here, bc there was a ton of that going around then. Dolly ended up dying at the vets. They tried to save her, but sadly, it was too late. Dalton was monkey-napped. There was a huge search for him, even a reward out, but we'll never really know what really happened.😢 The Amari Troop was the very first monkeys that i started watching & got to know (around 2015ish) They were all just really cool monkeys, a real bunch of characters. the O.G. King & Queen were dope af, and they were all just fun to watch. The vo's didnt interfere - at first. Then it all went downhill. But, Amari Troop is just legendary in my eyes. #LongLivetheQueen #AmariTroop

Everyone speculating about retained placenta or poison. If that baby is a newborn...as in only a day old...his mom probably would not have developed sepsis this quickly. That placenta would need to really begin rotting, which would happen fairly soon but not within a day.

Yes indeed Sepsis begins within hours this is why once a females bag of water or the amniotic sac has ruptured water breaks it is now a non sterile access to begin infection which is why doctors insist on the mother delivering the baby within a few hours of water breaking because the mother's will begin with fever and infection sets in quite quickly sustemically

I think the best way to teach appreciation for your country is to. They also feed certain monkeys so they’ll and be aggressive. I’m not talking about weaning either. I’ve seen it firsthand on these channels. Breaking news these monkey channels will try and get money for emergency services for the monkeys. Most importantly, mothers never leave their babies. They always say found abandoned baby mothers don’t abandon their babies. I’ve watched this girl named. Konthefa something like that and she would put the monkeys all on her lap and feed maybe two out of the five that she has and she will keep feeding the two out of five and not give the other three any food in there, clawing at each other and biting each other and she just has this grin on her face. That is sickening. She put lipstick on the monkey.I think it’s atrocious and I would never want to be associated with that country.

That's messed up the female has pups starting as early as 2 years old and they continue to have them the out thier entire life if the female live a full life span she will have given birth to at least 25 or 30 pups in life time an she has to mate with male whether she wants to not other wise be salvatly attacked by the male if she doesn't mate with male I"v seen monkeys videos where the male monkey just goes around mating with every female in the troop one after another until he's satisfied and a female resist him she will most likely be brutally attacked by the male monkey that's probably why a lot of the mom's don't really want the pups an it doesn't help that the pups so clingy even when they get older the mom has to statr weaning them at a early age cause if she doesn't it will be next to impossible an by then their usually expecting another pup by then an the cycle continues these particular monkeys have a depressing existence

The whole time the vo's fed the baby milk the mother didn't even try to protect the baby or even nurse it herself. When the baby was finally close enough to nurse, she held it's head away, as if she knew it would die if it drank her septic milk. Thankfully the humans gave the baby milk, but I wonder what happened to the baby once the mother died? Sepsis can occur from within a few hours to a few days if the placenta is retained. So it's hard to tell if the monkey has been poisoned or if it's dying from sepsis. But if the placenta isn't passed fever and lethargy can start happening within a few hours. Which it looks like that is what's happening to this mother monkey. Can definitely see the lethargy and possibly suffering from high fever too. Hope that clears up anybodies uncertainties of whether it was poisoned or not.

It's not good for any human to touch or have contact with an animal after birth the mother can smell that scent. She will not nurse or "contact after the human scent. This happened to our pitbull. When we looked again one of the newborn pup was missing. This also happened to someone else. Something was wrong with that pup. Mothers instinct is to kill the puppy and eat it. That keeps the dead from stinking and drawing predators. I’m an old woman and I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and lived on a farm. I have never seen a dog or cat get rid of babies because humans handled them. She doesn't look to be dying naturally. They realize when that time is close and wouldn't have a baby. She looks to be sick from something. Actually she looks like what happened to a stray dog we had in the neighborhood when I was growing up and he died from antifreeze poisoning. Antifreeze is very easy to get and very sweet. It wouldn't be difficult to get a monkey to eat some. Judging by her weight she also probably has diabetes. Monkeys are very susceptible to diabetes. That's why people should never give them fruit meant for people for sale at the grocery store. Our fruit is grown to be sweeter than found in nature. People should never interfere with wild animals. Watch them from a distance and never feed them. If you must feed the monkeys give them vegetables. They will eat just about anything vegetables wise. They love corn and string beans from my experience but I have seen them gorge themselves on okra and romaine lettuce before. As a treat I used to give them peanuts. I didnt realize how bad it was to interfere with nature when i was younger. I wouldn't feed them today. Not many realize that there is an established troop of pig tail macaques at the Silver Springs park in Florida. If you ever want to see monkeys in the wild without going to Cambodia, Africa or Afghanistan you can just take a car trip to Florida. Pretty sure they have a troop of vervet monkeys too. The macaques were close to where I lived at the time so I spent lots of time interacting with them. Miss seeing them so often.
