Update on strategy : recycling ur weapons after wave 100 barely pays back enough coins to be worth it, do not recycle ur weapons ,tested it few times doesnt work out

Nice one ! After watching your video, i wanted to try it out myself. While i got killed in the 11X, i noticed something that could maybe be usefull. Having more Pick up range, and basically zero heal from consumable. It could be possible to basically automatically suck up consumable without having to pick them up, i sort of had a set up like that, and it was a breeze to actually focus on dodging bullets / ennemies, while not having to pay attention to pick the consumables at the same time

i noticed that if you buy a really expensive weapon lategame, you can sell it for more than 10 times the health cost. wondering if that could be greater than 13 for excalibur

I rewatched the video a few times that`s actually one of the theories I had . Excalibur was kind of useless at some point so next time I make it to 150+ I will sell it , the potato throwers are good for knockback but almost all dmg except explosion type is just too low. Even if its not an Excalibur I will buy a legendary around wave 26 and sell it later. As I observed that might get my HP up to almost double value if the sell price is good but let`s see what happens it`s all theory for now. tnx for the feedback

made a run today again to 107 inflation wasnt that high, lvl 3 items were going for higher HP value than even the Coin value of the legendary Excaliuburs i had, need to explore deeper into wave 150+ and check back again. so far the results were kinda Underwhelming @@jasminecole8596

@@durandian True. Now there is an item to increase recycling price, I can confirm that price makes a difference, as I had a randomizer run where I bought 306 +50% item price- ah, items. Definitely makes a difference. Weirdly, some items opperate differently.

I had Demon unlocked pretty fast and had him before i had like 10~ other characters. I just double checked on the wiki you get him after you first dif5 win, i played 1 game on diff1, 1 game on dif2, 3, 4 and then been playing on 5 since then. His description sounded interesting so i think he was like my 3 or 4th dif 5 clear and he was pretty easy compared to some of the others - i did the exact same as you taking ghost scepters.

I've made it to wave 800 before quitting out of bordome. Just get a lot of pickup range, and make the fruits heal you for an insignificant amount so they come to you through the full round.

@craftycraff6083 there is a tool tip that is only added to ur weapon after u buy the item . Sadly the tool tip does not exist on the item itself. U only know u messed up after u buy it and check weapon stats

This is why speedrunning has categories. It is all fair and good sportsmanship as long as the rules are clear so everyone can compete on an even playing field, you can have separate world records for a 100% unlocked game file a 0% unlock fresh file or an any% file where you try and unlock only the optimal items before the true run.

@@aviencloud4239 anything that goes on the field will only distract u and slow down ur game every passing wave. The game is not optimized for after wave 200 300 specially when u get like 30 gardens. I made a full guide that shows how to go infinite. Definitely watch it 😂🤣

What item or weapon does explosions in this build? i only see your potato throwers and excalibur but neither of those have explosions. So iam wondering why you buy so much explosion damage because i cant see a way to trigger it

yeah someone already told me about it, the picture is pretty sus .Based on the picture he had 74 gardens he should have around 60k harvesting at that point even of game instead of 15k , someone didn`t do their math before making a pic. Items on ur list are based on first bought to last ,so someone gotta explain to me how he got tractor and crown + improved tools and lived through enough to buy all those legendary items without dying to mobs with no dmg

@abelx2 go nutz mate u can do it ! There is a full guide for it on the channel but u gotta practice a lot. Its not a bug , I just break the game's stat system and mob scaling with insane character growth 🤣😂 no exploits or bugs

that is not kind of possible because I have no MODs, all shops should be the same for everyone, they made a lot of changes after the release the game is not the same anymore , paddings hunting trophies have a limit and so on

Sorry, but there's no recording, then again by the rules of the internet it's not a valid record so you can at least remain the official record holder. But here's a summary of what I did differently from you. The main build tweak was cutting out all the healing and I just relied on Tardigrades as everything just one-shots you at higher waves regardless of armor and healing. Saving lots of early run resources to either spend on more damage or save for later. Later when pivoting I was able to grab 3 excaliburs and they're much stronger than potato launchers against elites, I think I picked up the last one quite late like wave 45 or something and it was worth it. Another change from your run is that I went with Ricochets (as well as piercing), with all your projectiles criss-crossing the screen you're more likely to tag any approaching enemies as they charge which will slow them down making it easier to react, I also turned off damage numbers to to make enemies more visible@@durandian

Strategy/gameplay I mainly did 2 things differently 1. I stayed in the center of the map whenever possible in order to maximize damage from alien eyes but also so that I could easily reach any part of the map, be it to avoid danger or hunt down buffers. 2. Shopping! I did pick up a few Tardigrades and Vigilante rings around wave 60-70 as even at 600hp they'll still be worth it. But once even those were too pricey I figured out one last use for the shop. I'm not 100% sure that this works but I thought that if you lock a unique item in the shop, it can no longer drop from crates as there can only be one of every unique, and it's stuck in the shop. And that trick seemed to work as once I had locked the Sad tomato, Candle and Handcuffs in the shop, I never saw those items as crate drops. Meaning higher drop rates for rings/tardigrades/silver bullets/plastic explosive. As for uniques I generally grab every single one that doesn't ruin the build the first chance I get and by doing this I could ideally remove 4 extra ones. I also figured as the build no longer uses any type of healing it's also safe to grab Torture. @@durandian

Finally RNG A good run needs good RNG but I can't say I had more luck than you did, I was actually considering restarting as I had only 2 Vigilante rings and 1 Hunting trophy at wave 25. I did however get more lucky with Silver bullets and Tardigrades and at wave 30 I had 10 of each and I did get all extra enemy items by then as well. By wave 60 I had all the important limited and unique items, 2 leaves ,10 Rings, 14 Tardigrades, 12 Silver bullets, 11 plastic explosives, 5 Explosive shells and around 900% extra experience. The late vigilante rings had hurt but I was kinda lucky with %damage from regular shop items and levels. And one very helpful thing was that in the end my explosions were big enough to damage every on-screen enemy regardless of position, every consumable an on demand nuke. @@durandian

Got to wave 150 on a run today, was a bit to low on the key items so didn't think it would go that far but I did some experimenting. Got my first Excalibur on wave 24 and I wanted to try even more excaliburs and ended up with 5 of them and it felt like a good call. Not which is best but I think that more is better and I'd gladly go up to 4 Excaliburs on my next good run. I also tried out grabbing Torture and I had failed to recognize all the side-effects of not being able to heal as that means you're missing health whenever you gain life from extra stomach and paddings. Not being at full health means you'll randomly start sucking up consumables and miss some extra life from stomach. I do however think that Torture has potential on later elite waves as that loot suction will help to kill them faster. Since elites are the main run killers it might be worth grabbing. Though I wouldn't take it before wave 150-160 or so.

If you didn't cap your movement speed you wouldn't have gotten hit that many times in the last round and you could've made 200+.. Also, wouldn't harvesting be worth it way past the point where you stopped grabbing it? Simply for the HP conversion.

Harvesting isnt worth it after 20. Even on a character like farmer. I only get it now on loud to not get too much negative harvesting. And yeah on this video i didnt optimize the movement speed .O did a lot of training and math and finally broke this record. I went forever basically there is a guide video for it on my channel 🤣😂
