He was the pastor of the Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio until his passing after 41 years.

He was a awesome mentor, teacher, and a great theologian of biblical history. When he came to new psalmist Baptist church in Baltimore Maryland for every fall revival (from 1975-to 2018), it will incredible and empowered. God bless him, may he continue to rest in Jesus
