Thank you for showing the feet in detail, I bought one of these machines and wanted assurance that the foot I thought was the zipper foot, was indeed the zipper foot. I have been sewing for years and yes, this is a very cool lightweight machine. No complaints!!

I have this machine and love it! My 8 year old has a more basic Brother machine and when she lifted my machine to move it, she could hardly believe how light my machine is!!! She is tiny for her age and love my machine. I haven't had even one problem with it.

i think this machine is very easy to use, i too had trouble threading it in the begining but if u use the automatic threader then its the easyest thing in the world!

I saw one which is more different than this. It's a 10 colored one and also electronic. Saw one sitting on a table when I was in an office, inquiring for a typewriter ribbon. It's pretty nice!

I have the Brother SQ9050 Model. It looks just like this one..Just does not have the USB port on it. What is the USB port used for? Downloading patterns into the machine...They do not say what it is used for...Also where can you purchase the pressure feet for it?

think about buying your brother machine from a dealer, most dealers will give you lessons on how to use your machine free of charge. If you buy from a big box store and need help, you will have to pay the shop to teach you.

I bought the XR 9000. got it two months ago, I cant' do anything with it. I keep getting errors messages. I hope to send it back. I know how thread a machine. the instructions are not different from any other mechanical machine. It just doesnt work.
