Brother Eli's passing inspired her to join the Church | Story of My Faith | MCGI

Sister Maria Liza Rejuso has been listening to Brother Eli Soriano since high school. As she began working and building her own family, she lost the time for Brother Eli's program. It was the Covid-19 lockdown that prompted her to turn back to her old habit.
One day in February 2021, while watching a video of Brother Eli on KZbin and manning their store, a customer informed her that the preacher had already passed. She went live on Facebook to document her grief and shock - and this paved way for MCGI (Members Church of God International) brethren to reach out to her and encourage her to join the Church even after Brother Eli's temporary repose.
