yes it makes me pissed as you expect everything in the box to be there and it turns out you have to spend more money for a cable that the cheap basteds should of put in the box

good review thanks dude! I've been spoiled with laser printers in my last office now i'm self-employed the thought of inkjet printers and ink replacements pains me. It does sound a bit like a harrier jet taking off though! Agree - the cable issue is stupid - I know they're only a couple of quid but that's not the point.

Good bargain printer. Only downer for me is the amount of space it takes up with that paper tray jutting out.

This printer got only black print out option? On my printer i can't print only in black, it has to be black and colour together which cost more to print and annoying when i want to only print in black

good thorough review - I am relieved because it seems that I have made a good choice with my first laser printer. Like you I just want it for printing out basic black and white stuff that is only for my in house reference - it means I will no longer need to use up my extremely expensive photo professional canon inkjet printer. The cartridges for that cost more than this printer plus the brother toner cartridge. Oh and plus the USB cable. I agree they are such 'meanies!!! Thanks again.

Hello JTS Your video about this machine is excellent and you know what you are talking about so I thought I would ask you. If I get a print from my HL - 1112 with a heavy black line down the full length of the otherwise OK image - Please tell me, what would YOU think might be the problem?. The LED light was also flashing and the one below that (though it's not so bright orange more subdued). I have turned it off for now.

Looks like a problem inside the toner cartridge. A roller might have a groove on it or a wiper blade might be damaged.

Printed 10 pages in less than 20 seconds, opposed to an inkjet which would probably have taken 20 minutes, and ran out of ink afterwards. 😂

yes of course i can its TN1050 or you can find it onj amason by typing brother hl 1112 and you will find cheap or the makes toners hope this helps

No that paper is too thick - the maximum paper gsm it will 'handle' is 120 gsm
