Excellent video. To take the side panel off on a 2140w, there's a locking tab on the back edge towards the bottom.

Thank you for posting this, it gave me some pointers to fixing the same fault on my HL-2150. The root cause of the problem is a little foam sound-deadening pad which gets pressed by the lever when the T1 solenoid is energised. Over time this pad becomes sticky and causes the lever to hang in the 'energised' position, initiating another paper feed before the previous sheet is printed and thus causing a jam. Tensioning the return spring, as you have done here, may help for a while but the real solution is to get rid of the sticky pad. You can either cover it with a bit of paper, remove it altogether or replace it with a small piece of felt as I have done with mine. This requires a bit more dismantling but should give a more lasting repair. I hope this helps. Thanks again for the video and your English is a lot better than my Arabic!

السلام عليك محتاج مساعتك وارشادك عندي نفس الطابعه اخرجت الكاترج وحقنة حبر وذلك بعد ان اشر عندي اللون الاصفر وبعده بقه الاصفر مشتغل وماتطبع ورق

طبعا هذه المشكله متكرره في اغلب الطابعات وخصوصا البراذر وكمان طابعات hp سبب المشكله ان magnetic relay فيه على السطح وساده وعند تلفها تكون هناك ماده لزجه وعند نزول السنسور يمسك على الوساده ولا يعود للاعلى وهنا تختل عمليه سحب الورق ونجد بان الطابعه تسحب اكثر من ورقه وتحدث كذلك عمليه الحشر..ولتفاذي هذه المشكله ام تغير الوساده التي فوق ال relay او تنظيفها او يمكن قطع ورق صغير من الورق التي تكون فيها لزوحه مثل ورق طابعه البركود gt420 لكي تمسك على relay(اقصد بعض الورق تكون فيه ماده عند قرشها تمسك على الحديد) وهنا تحل المشكله او نستخدم طريقتك كما تفضلت.......تحياتي لك لكل ماتقدمه من معلومات
