I know this video was published two years ago, but still wanted to thank you. I recently bought the 2370 model, and was bewildered by Brother’s video and the 200-plus pages user guide. While not too computer savvy, I do know that with Macs, it’s best to let the OS handle the peripherals. I followed this video and had my printer going in less than 10 minutes. All without installing any unnecessary drivers or adware. Thanks for condensing the instructions so well.

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

The instructions with this printer advises to set up either wired to a computer via USB or wireless. If I understand your tutorial correctly if I set up wirelessly first I can then also connect it using the USB cable via the settings menu. Is this correct?

I am having problems with this printer but remain optimistic. I see that it poorly responds. It will only print if I ask for 2 pages (double-sided) at one time. It is overwhelmed if you ask for multiple pages. Which driver should I install? Maybe that will clear this up. Also, it seems to print alright but it leaves a ragged stripe to one edge. I recommend turning the printer off and then back on again. This resets the wifi connection and should fix the issue
