Anna is back. I've been checking for months and waiting for her return. This channel is nothing without her.

I brought this in March from the shop. I was looking at the Janome (Sewing Bee) and this one. I love this and I'm still exploring it's capabilities. Very pleased.

Great demonstration. Certainly will consider when ready for a new machine. Thank you.

My Brother machine works fine....and I've put it through it's paces. It's a bummer when you get a lemon. Glad lemons in most situations can be returned 😊

Did you get the A65?

Thank you for a nice review. One thing i miss on every review though, is how the machine performs when going over the little humps in a patchwork. I now have the fs60x, whitch the ad said would sew through nine layers of denim. Never tried. But it can`t get thought five layers of thin quilting cotton, if two of them are folded over, like when you`re adding the side piece to a a row of little squares in a keyhole-block, without taking a little step to the side; whitch distorts the patchwork pattern. Not by much; just a itsy, bitsy, teeny, little stitch; but that will destroy the quilt. So i`m looking for a better one. I thought about the A16, but i think this will be better because i can grow in experience with it for a while. But i don`t know how well it will perform on patchwork-humps.

I have the same machine. I love it. What you did not mentioned, is that you can let the machine automatically go reverse and again on the start and finish. So you never forget to secure it.

Hello. I bought this machine yesterday, and I am a beginner. How do I make the machine do automatically go reverse and again on the start and finish, to not forget secure it, does that mean it is locked☺

@@invisibledreams6618 use the button on the display, next to the second -/+ button. It is also in the manual on page 10 and 46.

I bought a Brother Pacesetter, quilting machine. The auto needle threader has broken 4 times, the walking foot requires miniature hands to attach, and the threading and whole machine is SO temperamental! Luckily I bought a service policy because it’s been in for service a lot! I’m very disappointed to say the least. I’m sure Brother makes good machines, but I wish I’d held out, saved my money and bought a Bernina.

I have just bought this machine. I am struggling to get the tension right. What would be the normal settings for sewing 2 pieces of quilting cotton. Just a Regular straight stitch

Thanks so much for the lovely tutorial ! One question I'm having a hard time answering is does this machine has a way of choosing the exact placing of your needle before you start sewing ?
@SewingStudio9 ай бұрын
You would be able to achieve this by using the stitch width adjustment to move the needle left or right and then either the needle up/down button or turning the hand wheel to drop the needle to see exactly where it will start sewing from

Ok thanks !

I just bought a Brother sewing machine on Amazon, brand new and was a piece of junk. Returned it--skipped stitches, bobbin didn't wind all the way--unreal! Whatever quality used to be related to brother, seems to have disappeared IMO. How could this pass quality control?

I have this machine, it is fantastic. So I don’t agree with you.
