Hi , yes it is perfect for quilting...we would also recommend the quilt kit which has all of the quilting feet and wide table.

@@dcnuttsewingmachines9065 Thanks You will suggest me one thing I need a quinting sewing machine. I am poor man, it is not possible to buy expensive quilting sewing machine. Name the best quilting sewing machine at the lowest price with very good sewing, I don't need any design, I will only work using the ruler pressar feet. I will design on a designer fabric and I will sew on the design with my hands.

Yes, would recommend using leather needle for best results

@@sydneysteve7 I eventually bought the F420 last December and I must say - I love it so far! I’ve had several other Brother sewing machines before (cheaper ones) and this one sews beautifully and such a breeze! I love love love my F420

@@sydneysteve7 denim not yet. But I’ve done duck canvas (4 layers with thin interfacing in between) and i have no issue at all. 😀

No it doesn't...but this machine is excellent!
