Thank you! This helped so much. Can you do a tutorial on the #5 zigzag stitch and zigzag foot? I am a beginner and I’ve only done a straight stitch, and the zigzag looks difficult😅 I just now learned there are other sewing feet. I’m planning on turning prefold diapers into fitted using this machine.

Be cautious on changing the type of sewing design you want. The 0-5 tension part causes thread not to stay together to the bottom bobbin thread. Takes awhile to get thread back to normal

Have 2 brother model sewing machines both are giving me trouble. My LX3817G suddenly started not sewing together thread no matter what shape you want. Have removed everything in the inner part. Cleaned out back together. Nothing. The other brother JX2514 model the inner bobbin bounces up & down, and not making stitches either. 😢😢. I don't want to have to pay for service but if I want to continue sewing making things, I will have no choice.😢😢😢

The thtead keeps coming off the needle

I had that issue, too, make sure it’s threaded correctly. My problem was the bobbin.
