The LHSAA needs to get their shit together. All this select/non-select and division bullshit is useless because their aren't enough schools in Louisiana to fill eight playoff brackets! That's why you see a bunch of teams with first round byes and schools with Losing records in the playoffs. Just bring it back to 1A - 5A playoffs and leave it at that. best teams win. simple! OH and Woodlawn gave this game away smh.

This is way better than it used to be at least. There used to be like 9 teams in D1 Select..now it’s a full bracket (22 teams). And I’m cool with the byes because everybody still has to win 4 games to win it all. 5A-1A will never happen because a bunch of schools still have a problem with other schools being able to get kids outside of their attendance zone and that’s not the LHSAA’s fault, that’s a decision by the schools. I don’t know if you can “give a game away” if you don’t score for the last 3 quarters lol. I feel like you gotta be winning in the 4Q to “give a game away”
