A Reality Review of Brother HL-T4000DW (same as T4500DW but lacks copying function) I bought the printer after reading the specification and watching reviews. The specifications states that it is a 22 ipm printer, high speed printer in normal mode for A4 documents, but at the sacrifice of print quality, yes it prints a A4 documents at around 3 seconds but the print quality is faded. in fine mode it takes 16 secs for a document (only text), the quality is good but calculate the time around 4 pages per minute. The other print time are as follows: A4 plain (Best Quality) 1min 20 sec (Print out not Good) , A4 Inkjet Paper Fine Quality: 2 min 26 secs (Acceptable Quality) A4 PLAIN Paper Fine Quality : 17 Secs, A4 PLAIN Normal ( Text) : 3 secs, A4 Plain Normal Quality Duplex: 12 Secs i,.e 5 ppm 4/6 photo print - Fine Quailty (Not Good) Other Photo Paper : 1.27 secs, 4/6 photo print - Best Quality is good but it takes a lot of time. In comparison my canon G670 printed a normal quality photo in just 35 secs with leaps and bound in quality. Hence to sum up this printer is highly exaggerated, brother has only tweaked the firmware setting to print faster at loss of quality, the only advantage I have is that it can print on A3. This is a document printed made with haste. This is the second time I have regretted with a brother product. 22 ipm should be fast without loss of print quality. I regret not going with Canon Maxify 7070 (whose refill ink is very expensive). If you want to purchase a Color A3 document printer go for it else look for others like hp.

yess,the best A3 and A4 printer.very good for office used.very cheap in bottles.goodbye Colour laser..this is the best for office use..all my office we used these..we save more money..

It probably is a good printer. I would like to buy a Brother ink tank printer, but they do not sell it here in the United States. I suspect Brother does this to milk the American market for more money. So I am stuck buying overpriced ink cartridges from Brother 😒
