As a person of color, you have helped me a lot to clarify the fact that black and white do not indeed indicate racial differences. Those contradictions you refer to have given me a lot of clarity and certainty. I have never doubted the goodness of our H. Father and since my baptism in 1981 I have never really questioned it. It only started happening when people pointed it out to me and of course when I read the history of our church from the early years of the church... When I am reading scriptures about darkness and light, I love to contemplate the parallels that can be found when one considers that darkness is not a condition with any substance. Darkness can only exist when there is an absence of light.

What happened to the scripture saying lion and the lamb like it used to? I struggle with that even tho it might sound silly. It is no where to be found in the scriptures anymore.

Are you referring to 2 Nephi 21:6-7?

Near the end of the video in 2 nephi: 30: 12 - 14 they read something similar to your lamb and lion.
