It is not thier eulogy though sounds like one. They are definitely older but not dying. Casper always bangged up and has arthritis but he always managed to resurface the same with Mfowethu. ❤ Casper,Satara pride and the Shish brothers. Long live the kings.

Casper looks fine to me. He has had that front limp for a long time. He has a full belly too. Mfowethu I never saw that skinny and have a back limp.

Beautiful sighting!! They are both not in very good health especially Mfowethu. He can barely walk as well as Casper with his front paw being all swollen and can’t really walk on it. They were lying down so ppl weren’t able to see how they are struggling. Is Mfowethu still the dominant male even though he hasn’t been in the best health the past few months??

I've seen many of your videos of these particular lions for a couple of years now and the way these two - I belive it's Casper and Casanova - leave and head into the back in the state they're in and Caspar looking back for a moment was a bit tough actually..

The way they are moving, it looks like they are arthritic..otherwise fine. The more they walk, the less the arthritis hurts & their gait becomes less stiff.

Sad to see these two Kings getting old and less and less fit...😢 Of course they are not at the end of their days but surely and slowly they are taking that way. Hope they won't be caught by younger males or coalitions.🤞 It would be great if they could stick to the pride and their two other brothers 🙏.. .if they are still alive as no one is able to confirm they are ok or unfortunately passed away. They are more than 10 years old, right ? So for wild lions it is old age, they are not living so long as zoo lions who get free food and vet care. No sight of lionesses who are primary hunters in wild, looks like old males are not in hunting condition, especially Mfowethu, who is limping.
