Now they're both fighting over recognition from her for her gift. That has to be a statement of how much they value their sister. And I think we have seen that it's reciprocated. Katie, I just made Oreo balls the other day too! When your chocolate isn't melting as liquid-y as you like, the secret is to use oil. I personally use either coconut oil (it's good for you and the taste isn't too strong) or Gentle Taste Olive Oil (you can't even taste it). Just add it in small amounts into the chocolate and stir it in. Then you just keep doing that until you get the consistency you like/want!

That depends. An Aussie isn't British because Australia is not a part of Great Britain. Canada, however, IS a part of America, as is Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Equador, Brazil, etc. These are all American countries. When I was learning Spanish, the proper terminology that I was taught for someone who is from the States is either that we are Norte Americanos or else de donde Estados Unidos (if I remember correctly). And when I was in Costa Rica, more than one teacher asked me why those of us from the United States so arrogantly call ourselves Americans when everyone from North, Central and South Americas are Americans as well. I had to remind them that it was not us who called ourselves this, but people from other countries. The Brits and the Europeans as far back as 3 or 400 years ago were probably the first. But even in WW2, when we were helping to set France and Italy free, they used to celebrate that "the Americans are coming!" People still refer to us that way to this day. So it isn't improper to call a Canadian American UNLESS what is meant is specifically the United States.

Generally, in my experience, that is what has been meant when I've been asked if I'm an "American", that is, am I from the United States of America. It probably doesn't help that I live right next to the border and a large American city. You have to get well away from the border before the regional Canadian accents become more distinct, such as what you would hear in Quebec and the Canadian Maritime provinces. Cheers!

A person from Serbia is a Serbian. A person from the United States of America is an American. See the trend... These are called demonyms. And in EVERY form of English, the word American refers to a US citizen. In fact, it is recognized by the UN as the only demonym that should be used for an American; even though the spanish speakers in south america like to call us gringos (we aren't greek)... That is what the word means in english. I don't care if you like it or not. Words have meanings.

(edit: I edited out what I had written about gringos and your reference to not being greek because at first glance I had thought you were mis-following your line of reasoning about demonyms, when in reality you were referring to the word's etymology. So that mooted my point about the word.) So then, other than that, I see we pretty much agree with everything else. However, the tone of what you wrote is set from your question of whether I "see the trend" and your last two sentences, and leaves me thinking that you thought you were somehow correcting something I said. If you see errors in what I wrote, maybe you could help me by pointing them out to me? Otherwise, since nothing you said disagrees with anything I said, but instead actually supports some of it, then that leads me to think that you apparently have somehow misunderstood either what I had written or my intention for having written it. @It's The Donnellys I loved this the girls and there Cindy Lou made me bust out laughing. I mean dr.sues is fun to read by far but I got to admit that movie is a classic and funny. Good job girls thanks for the laugh and Brennen and Ryan your contest of who's idea is hilarious. And ryan playing fortnite with 2 mins left is funny. Jill trying to not laugh impossible but made me think of the green screen. Jill you had a bunch of animated character behind you blasting away. To funny but I've got to admit I saw the sign above your door frame and I just got to say I use to live in Florida. Oh a few years back and Siesta Key was like probably 30mins away or less. I know I tried to bike it but got scared of the draw bridge so I turned around and took the car instead. Over all this was fun to watch. And my favorite thing for today was finding that I passed my finals and with a A to. I was stressing to the max and thought it would be a couple of C's. Online can be stressful but yet I love doing school in Pj's and eating lunch. Love it thanks for sharing have a great weekend.
