I was waiting for the longest time for someone to transcribe TehIshter's incredible arrangement of this masterpiece. It finally happened thanks to UnlimitedMusicWorks! I put extra time into this performance as I still absolutely adore this song and the series behind it. Fullmetal Alchemist remains as one of the greatest stories ever told and its emotional complexity hits me again and again every time I play this song.

@@diism3012 Because Theishter came out with his version and he does such an amazing job on everything and his version was especially extra good so Atin Piano recorded a performance of him playing it, although atin piano played it a bit slower

I have listened to the original al least 100 times, and this net version has some differences and it somehow adds to it, knowing how it is supposed to be and then suddenly he plays something an octave lower. I really loved the old version, I still come back to it but this is even better

Aw man saame! I didn’t realize I wasn’t going to be able to play a bunch of the lower and higher keys that mine doesn’t have. I’ll probably just play the bottom keys once, instead of the octave and continue with the pattern. But for the higher keys I’ll have to figure something out 🤨

Thanks dude! The only chord I changed throughout is the dominant at the end of the chorus like at 1:55. In the sheets it's written as an inverted D minor which doesn't make a lot of sense, it should really be an A7. However I took it a step further and made it a diminished A7 (so instead of EAC#E you play FAC#F) so it further intensifies the harmonic tension right before the resolve to D minor.

Damn i need my piano teacher back. I'm not sure if it's because we in europe don't use the Aphabetical system of ABCD and so on so much, or It's just me being a pesant who's had a piano teacher for only 3 years and knows nothing of chords and their resolves.
