I have this game on a £500 gaming plus the other 2 it's great playing them in 4k tho way more palletable than the 360 and xbox original version tho but yea 3 decent pc games

Hells highway was absolutely ridiculous. The best ww2 game and I’m a fan of all 3 of the big ww2 series but it’s the king

The AI was pretty good. Shoot a machine gunner and the enemy squad will try and replace him. Try and rush head on and you will be outflanked. Spread your team to thin and you will be picked off. Fond memories of all of the Brothers in Arms games.

Maybe you mean they both used Unreal Engine? which is the same engine but they aren't the same dev's in anyway shape or form. So MAY give you a similar "feel", is that what you mean?

A few years ago, the company I worked for moved from Eindhoven to Best. Best, now a pretty large town, was the same village Best that is featured in this game. Only when I passed by a small memorial dedicated to the 101st Airborne Division, did I realize my daily commute had me walk over a former World War II battlefield. Although very few buildings survived the war and the many decades that have passed. The church is still there, fully restored after being badly damaged during operation Market Garden. That got me back playing this excellent game, and now I noticed even small details like the window panes being uneven, not perfectly straight as modern glass. Because the game makers paid attention to these things. After the company moved back to Eindhoven, I also noticed that there some buildings in the city center today still have the bullet holes they received during the fighting.

Ba was one of the first shooters i played, loved the series. Great story telling, fun progression. Never understood why they let this franchise die. Could have been so much more. It wasnt perfect but for the time imo it sits at the top

Unfortunately Hells highway came out right around the time everyone was getting sick of WWII shooters, and pivoting to modern military era games. it sucks because its a GREAT game.

All three games run excellent on Win 10. For a number of reasons the first two games are more challenging, especially Earned In Blood. Blood also includes an additional Skirmish Mode in which the player can select from two German characters. The maps/objectives in Skirmish M. offer extreme challenge. Hell's Highway is convenient; it loads quickly and after a complete playthrough Every cutscene can be skipped. Some criticize the Red screen 'health' system and Red Suppression indicators. Both can be deleted in settings. Early favorites? Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Three.

I just started replaying this game today. Still as good as I remember, the grenade sounds are 10/10 and the battle dialogue is great. Friends and I use to watch the Band of Brothers series then hop on these games and really get into it. Great memories!

I just finished it on PC after having not played it on my PS3 for maybe 13 years or so. What an experience, playing it in super smooth 200FPS was a dream and I had such a nostalgic blast. For anyone who hasn’t tried this game yet and is looking for a solid WW2 shooter experience you should 100% try this game on PC if you can

For me the games that blew my mind at the time, but it's painful to go back to, is both Colin Macrae Rally, and Gran Turismo 2 on the OG PS1. Now we have HD, it's VERY blocky. They were both fantastic fun to drive, and each car feels uniquely realistic.

I highly recommend the PC version over it's console counterparts if you're thinking about playing it and have a PC. Controls feel more natrual on PC and performance is not an issue at all. When I played through the games a couple months ago it was way shorter than I remember and way easier. It took me 5 hours on Veteran which is the second highest difficulty

THIS IS MY POINT! Thank you..... Nostalgia is both amazing and dangerous. All the people my age (43) that say Call of duty now is awful, it isn't made with love, it's shocking....... No, it is the same. If you have a Series X or PC, go back and play the original MW, MW2, BO..... whatever.... You will find they are EXACTLY THE SAME. Same kinda maps, same kinda channels down the maps, quick scopers, bunny hopping shotgunners, campers..... The CoD style of today is the same as years ago.... The difference is, we were younger, had less too worry about, different life, different time, didn't have to work and we didn't have access to the net so easily, like we do today with hundreds of thousands of asshats, all moaning about gaming 24/7. The Goldeneye release on Switch and Series X/S.... The dev's said, ''It is a direct 1 to 1 version of the original on the Switch, with online functionality'', and a direct 1 to 1 on the Series X/S, with improved 4K visuals, but no online. The dev's didn't lie or try too trick you, it is a direct 1 to 1 copy, that means THE EXACT SAME F#####G GAME THAT WAS ON THE N64. But what do you get on Twitter and YT? Idiots in their now 30's or 40's, that look back on the original with nostalgia glasses, that say ''Another game dev's managed to ruin''...... IT'S THE SAME GAME!!!!! it wasn't ruined, it just looks and plays awful because it is so old. I love nostalgia, but my God some of you are thick as f##k. I remember SOCOM being amazing, i remember Dino Crisis and Syphon Filter being incredible. I got old consoles to play SOCOM and Dino Crisis on..... Why did i bother lol. It is clunky, jerky, you blend into the wall, floor..... You can't make out what you can climb on or take cover behind. And playing Syphon Filter on the PS5, it's like you are drunk. This boom in Retro gaming is mad, playing anything on a console older than the PS3 or 360 is an absolute horrendous experience, but i see people paying upwards of £200 on some games? In CEX they are selling Silent Hill on PS1 for £90! I wouldn't give you £9 for that garbage..... It was good, at best when it was new. You hear people say the phrase ''Never meet your idol''. Well take this one for free.... Remember your much loved games of the 80's, 90's and very early 00's as just that.... memories, because revisiting them these days is tragic lol.

I like going back and playing old games to see if they live up to the memory. This one does for the most part. it was only the story that let it down. I've gone back and played several Mega Drive games recently and nearly all of them are as good as I remember. Maybe only one in Primal Rage that was horrendous compared to how I remember it. Games on the PS1 & N64, maybe some PS2 I find to be a little different. in racing games half the time I can't work out what's road and what's wall. This is why I love a remaster. Cleans it all up so that I can make out what's what. I get what you mean about people on Twitter etc Thankfully I tend to stay away from opinion

I'm 22 and getting into this nostalgia collecting trend as well. Granted not all games are hits as I remember when I was younger. I do still put plenty of hours on my PS2 playing NFL 2k5 metal gear solid NBA Street ECT . Even on my PS3 that I just got right now I'm really into nba2k11 and ufc undisputed. I just feel that there's no need to put a negative light on this trend because there is s***** games, but there are still gems that games to this day can't replicate. What made it really obvious for me was how many games I was purchasing for my PS5, put in a couple hours in and eventually losing interest over and over multiple games, even the new Dead Island. 2 trash. And that's how it's felt for me these past couple years with his new generation of gaming. The ps5 I lose interest so easily. I just feel like these games are trying to replicate the classics that we remember. Not sure if it's the fact that I play more sports games maybe that's where the gems are but I do play multiple genres of games on all my systems.

Just reading the book Brothers in Arms Hells Highway by John Antal, the companion book and have found my copy of Brothers in Arms Hells Highway the true story... The game plays very similar to the early Ghost Recon and it would really be something to see a game based on the same engine as Breakpoint or the new version of G.R. in development. Tried loading the two previous installments of BIA . The first one was fine and fun to revisit, the second one has a virus attached to it and ate my PC, needless to say, I was not impressed.

There's a control setting called call of duty or something similar which is LT to aim down sights. It's as it says Cod buttons. Makes the game a lot easier to control
