I love both versions of this song but Band-Maiko's mixture of traditional instruments and hard rock sounds pretty good to me."Secret Maiko Lips" MV is a real treat ! Thanks Guys Great Reaction !

Band-Maid's music is NEVER boring! There are always different elements to each song. No redundancy EVER! I've been two of their live concerts, loved each one of them, and plan to attend more when they announce their 2025 schedule, hopefully with some dates in the U.S. The only problem, it is become more difficult to get tickets unless they book much larger arenas (which I hope they do).

As a Rock band these girls are so many tiers above the rest, there is no point listening to others. But Japan has many styles of bands and eech genre has it's top contenders. So I equally love Band maid , Lovebites, Scandal, Koiai, Nemophila, Winnie and Asterism. Of each genre type, it;s just who is coming out with the best songs and doing the best live as well. Japan is a candy store for lovers of good bands. Sadly in the West we have been educated too accept below par musicianship, talent and people who need their songs written for them. Such a sad state of affairs. Thank the gods for Japanese music industry and an abundance of talented females to put a fresh perspective on things.

If Japanese music industry promotes today's amazing rock/metal bands, they would've been more popular. Rock bands from 80s-90s still dominate Japan's rock / metal counterparts. One Ok Rock already had a foot on the door by taka's parents both being famous singers from 70s-. Japanese music industry should be promoting more unique, talented bands.

Congrats! You've unlocked the Secret Room! You know what that means? Now you have to do their BAND-MAIKO version, 'Secret Maiko Lips'. Have To! And that means you have to do the other BAND-MAIKO song 'Gion-Cho'. Have To! And, while you're at it you may as well check out their post COVID April Fool's Day Joke, MIKU GOES SOLO AS CLUPPO! Have To! Get busy boys! Oh, and there's a Behind-The-Scenes, Making Of Gion-Cho video, if you can find it, but you don't have to do that one. It's not a Music Video. More like Ohrinji's documentaries on the girls.

Well boys, you sure have done it now! The rules say that you've now got to react to the other version of this song. It's called Secret Maiko Lips and it's performed by their arch nemesis band, Band Maiko. If you thought this had some different flavor, wait 'til you hear that version! This is a banging song, but the Maiko version has the extra Oooomph! to make it that much better. Coupled with the lyrics in a completely different vocal dialect, it over takes the original in my book.
