Dany is a ball of energy and positivity! It’s interesting that she sings in the dark while recording, possibly because of self consciousness although it’s not apparent on stage or in in public. In any case you won’t find a more engaging and delightful young woman. She is a credit to her family and her culture!

In an interview Dany said it helps her focus on how she feels the song and her part in it. She told about singing Amore and how she broke down crying so hard that David came in to console her. These ladies put everything out there. Amazing.

Great point about the B-speakers. Audiophiles always bragging about how much their tower speakers weigh. Yet approximately 99% of music is consumed thru 7y/o car speakers, Bluetooth ear buds or straight out of phone speakers. Ya have to mix for the masses😊.

Dani once said she has a form of synesthesia - she sees sounds as colors. She once showed her file system which has each subject in a different colored tab. TW lived in a house on Lake Hopatcong while recording in the studio. While they were there it snowed 30inches and Rudy barbecued on the house porch during the snow. They also had a snowball fight.

I like Pau unabashedly just repeating a musical phrase over and over out of the blue, non-sequitor. That is what musicians are like. I just imagine people being in a room with her in that mood and going "Jesus, what is wrong with that girl?". "Oh, sorry sir, she's actually talented. That's what those types do, you understand". And yeah, Dany was as usual just so full of it. For someone obsessed with donuts you'd think she had already had 7 donuts and 12 cups of coffee, but no, probably just woke up. My impression based on just my anecdotal experience of studying human behavior is that this was about 20 days into the what, 3 months? they spend together. You can see the familiarity with Bendeth and the girls and Rudy, but it is still being constantly reinforced, so still in a settling phase, though comfortable. Clearly Pau was comfortable!

I saw this video when it came out. Back then I had no idea of what the song titles would be - except for Martirio, which they had already played live in 2019. Now it's nice to revisit that whiteboard and figure out which shortcut stands for which song.

I like the way they coded the Error songs on the white board (it is better visible in other videos from that session). Now, knowing the titles I am able to guess which is which in most cases (X means Z, T3 is 23 and heart is obviously Amour). But I have problems with two: "M" and a kind of face made from two x'es with a wave beneath). The unassigned titles are Money and Martirio. Should I assume that the face means the suffering martyr?

Whatever the method, bands and producers always should have an easy way to keep track of progress on a project or even each individual song. A white board seems perfect for the task. When I got the 20th anniversary edition of Layla, it came with some track sheets - similar to this but for each individual song, and would tell you which track each instrument was on.
