Unlike Halloween, the Day of the Dead is not about creating horror... it is a celebration in Mexico that is about honoring, remembering, and keeping alive the loved ones who have passed away.

This concert was originally broadcast on Meta as a VR show, so presumably if you had a VR headset (I don’t), you would have seen everything in 3D and even be able to “walk” right up in front of them. 😎👍

It’s not necessarily for Halloween, it’s for “Día de muertos” a Mexican tradition that is the November 2. And they are dressed as “Catrina’s” that is a female skeleton dressed up. You can look for images in internet 😉

There is After Movie, behind the scenes of them preparing for the concert. Makeup, etc. 🤘⚡ ⚠️ November 1st (Todos los Santos) and November 2nd (Los Fieles Difuntos). Day of the Dead combines the ancient Aztec custom of celebrating ancestors with All Souls' Day, a holiday that Spanish invaders brought to Mexico starting in the early 1500s.

There is also a concet from 2019 where they appeared in Witches Fest and were dressed in similar style, and a seperate Halloween concert where they were in different costumes (more traditional halloween style). And yes, when you hear that Pau hits hard, it's not a joke.

Such a great stage design, costuming & make-up for this event, suitably dark especially for these two tracks. And definitely agree the audio is cleaner so you can really hear their amazing instrumentation, and I thought Dany & Pau's vocals really shine as well. Awesome performance by these amazing ladies! I think this was a live stream they did for their Patreons. I could be wrong. But, I do believe that is why they performed this concert. This was during the pandemic as well I do believe.

As you know, Dia de Los Muertos means Day of the Dead. In Puerto Rico it's celebrated October 1st I believe. In Mexico I'm not sure which day it's celebrated, but I'm pretty sure it's a big deal over there.

This show was not for Halloween, but for Día de Muertos. An entirely different celebration with quite a distinct meaning and purpose. But since it takes place so close to Halloween (November 2) many people confuses both festivities outside of Mexico and think they are similar. Not at all.

Ok 5 years ago they did a show at a little cafe on Halloween. All 3 were dressed in costumes but there was something special about Ale that night. She was dressed as Dorothy from the wizard of oz. "Dia de muertos" is a Mexican date (november 1sr and 2nd) when our dead relatives comes to share with us once more, and their costume is not a horror character, they're characterized as Catrinas, that is a tradiotional character made by a visual artist named Jose Guadalupe Posada, that is a kind of "Día de muertos" Icon, by the way, their hair is not red, that's red flowers

Actually, Dia de los Muertos has nothing to do with Halloween. It is more a time to reflect and remember on those you have lost. It is the first week of November.
