In this video I review two Fox body Mustang GT's. Dwayne and his son Daniel purchased a 1988 GT as a winter project car to be ready for Daniel's 16 birthday.
I then review Dwayne's 1993 Paxton Supercharged Mustang GT.
This car has a custom built top end with stock bottom end and a Paxton Novi Supercharger with 10lbs of boost. The transmission is a T56 backed by a hydraulic actuated Spec II clutch.
Brakes are 03-04 Cobra 5 lug conversion.
Exhaust is of course, Flowmaster.

Tom, I cannot thank you enough for your time & hard work put into this video, it really shows and we are forever grateful for this experience. Originally, the video was going to feature just my mustang, but after talking, I had recently come across my sons mustang, thanks to Andrew Cunningham for the lead, I then sent Tom a picture of my son's not only first car but first 1988 Ford mustang GT. Shortly after, the wheels started turning in Tom's head and he mentioned to me, " how about a father/son video ," and I replied that was the greatest idea ever!! Now most of you that are watching, are probably my age & can relate to the feeling we had as teens of being able to experience having & owning the king of the road ; The Foxbody Mustang. Now Daniel gets to experience this at age 16, how cool is that!!!! I hope you everyone enjoys this video & continue inspiring this young generation so we can always keep the Foxbody alive!!!!

Hey Wayne, car is beautiful! I have a 88 notchback with a paxton and I'm wondering did you buy it as a kit used? Mine has a piece of flex hose with the maf then filter and I see yours has a nice hard pipe into the fender well.
@dwaynerangel2236
@dwaynerangel2236 8 ай бұрын
@@Joeshomegarage So to answer your question I did buy the head unit used so i pretty much peace it together with new and used parts the power pipe that holds the filter is from anderson motorsports, I no longer have a MAF sensor because i'm running a Holley Terminator engine management system but you could always extend your MAF wires and still run the same power pipe if you still plan to keep your MAF if that makes any sense.

@@dwaynerangel2236 Thanks for the response! Yeah I'm going to leave the drivetrain alone for a while and focus on interior and suspension and then if I get bored I'll start looking for more power lol. I may just fabricate my own intake I just don't like how it's just laying in the engine bay but it works for now.

What are you using for the magnetic mount for the Holley display ??
@BrotherTom
@BrotherTom 8 ай бұрын
@@darinlewis9478 my car is an 89 with the dummy lights on the bezel so it's pretty easy. Buy a magnetic mount phone holder for you car. Remove the magnet from the holder and attach it to the back of your holley screen holder. Then place the small metal plate (the one you would stick to the back of your phone) behind the dummy window on the bezel. This still works if you don't have the older bezel, but might need some trimming of the metal plate.

For the newer ones I’m going to say 91,92,93 that don’t have the dummy lights in that area you’re going to have to have a powerful magnet, like a uranidum magnetic then simply glue it with your favorite plastic adhesive.
