So with all the Leisure Suit Larry references I'll drop my favorite piece of lore. The creator of the games had made a trilogy with a nice concise ending, but when they wanted a 4th game he had writers block. His solution was to skip Leisure Suit 4 and go straight to 5 so the story didn't matter and it became a joke that the 4th game was known as "the missing floppies" as in floppy disks.
