Girl I resonate with this too. I’m brown too and when I was around 18-23, I wouldn’t party much bc my parents wouldn’t allow it and I was focused on my studies/ career. Plus I was in a relationship that time where my bf didn’t want me to party much but that’s a whole other story! So from 24-27 is when I had my “hoe phase”. I broke up with the guy I was dating. I partied every weekend, dated a bunch of guys, smoked, drank, did all the stuff that I never got to do, while also working on my career. But eventually I realized that this life wasn’t cutting it for me and I wanted more stability in my life. Fast forward to now, I’m 29, I have a solid career, a fiance and about to get married soon. We all evolve and go through our phases in life. If I didn’t go through those crazy partying phases in my mid 20s, I would’ve regretted it and felt a lot of resentment. Everyone’s timing is different. So party as much as you want girl and let the haters hate 😏 it’s your life so you call the shots!

I see a lot of people in their early 20s lose sight of their goals as they party and stuff mostly under peer pressure to look cool. Of course, you don’t have to give up fun altogether but prioritise your careers when you’re young coz it’s difficult to get back on track later.
