My grandmother came from Brownstown. She was born in 1895. She was a Brown. Her mother, Mary Casey, came from Ireland and stayed in Jamaica where she married a baptist minister. I never met her, and there was no correspondence between her and her daughter. I hear that she died in Brownstown at the age of 107. Granny married Jasper Brown from Clarendon. He died here in Toronto in his 40's. Granny had different memories of Brownstown.
