Meri married Kody out of love. If you look at their wedding photos both Kody & Meri look like your typical in love bride & groom. If Kody married her to start playing at becoming a polygamist husband, I call it a lie on his part. Meri was his 1st & legal wife. If the marriage soured soon after, you get an annulment. Jumping to adding Janelle as wife #2 is like a couple having a baby to keep the marriage alive. It does not help. The baby is born with a job. Kody wanting to take Janelle as his 2nd wife did not help him have a better marriage with Meri. Polygamy is stupid & it hurts the wives & worse all the kids Kody fathered. The kids born of plural marriages is abusive for the children. They have a drop in dad who is not INVOLVED. I have seen couples who have a pet that gets more care & love from a couple than the Brown kids got. It's just sad for the kids.
