But doesn’t that make you think that it will encourage manufacturing to go back into the US. Rather than importing everything. Should we really be importing everything from abroad. Yes could be more expensive in the short term but could encourage internal supplying

Biden tariffs on China EVs was mainly due to human rights , eg uyghur muslims , forced labour etc. UK consumers are more informed and aware of paid promotors albeit some will buy if price cheap enough.

Sir Henry Royce said some 100 years ago that the best drive drain for a Rolls-Royce is electric. Now he would be very proud of the Rolls-Royce Spectre. That is the car suitable for the Lady Penelope. ICE will be gone. Be sure about it.
