Right. I see the grip panels are not cut for the main spring housing pin, cool that way.

The PYTHON is a beautiful gun that is delicate and sometimes does not work the way they should. Some don't strike the primer hard enough to set it off.

Mr. Tyler makes the point that all should start with. What are you going to use it for? Beautiful pieces there.

I love the deep blue of the finish. I may have to look you up for some work. There are very few real smiths left. I have had too many ruin my guns. Straight hacks. That's why I started to work on my own and when I first started ordering from Brownells.

I've a 3 screw small frame Blackhawk now modded to .44 spl. One smith bored the cyl. another hung a super blkhwk tube, another shortened the brl and put in an after mkt rear sight and patridge front. Belt mtn pin.It has walnut burl grip made by my Dad decades ago that I found again at a gun show. Dad had fit bomber window grip to a first gen Colt when in the Army Air Corp.

Some incredible work. I’ve done a few parts bin builds, (AR’s, Tactical Solutions .22’s and the like) but these are definitely next level. The depth of those colours. 😳

Do you work on Colt SAA (PEACEMACKER) 45COLT ??
@jackrichmond98993 жыл бұрын
Would it be too difficult to ream the chambers on an OM Blackhawk .30 carbine. If I send it to Ruger, they’ll mess with the action. Unless the case length is exactly1.290”, having a hard time with reloads and factory ammo being too long for cylinder travel.

How do you make stainless steel look like color case hardened?
@thestonethatthebuilderrefu52314 жыл бұрын
Or is it just blue. Because the cylinder is blue right? How do you turn stainless blue? I mean I remember seeing it turned blue from heat but I thought it was toasted at that point. What ever it takes to make another video. I think I've watched you reface at least three side by sides

Ruger says they won’t put a longer barrel on my .45 New Model Vaquero with a birds head grip. And they also say you can’t change the grip frame and grip. But here it seems that you have changed both. So can I have a new grip and a longer barrel installed on my New Vaquero? JWC
@ethanp7183 Жыл бұрын
Yes, from what I’ve learned Bobby will do new grip styles but ruger only allows re finishing of the original finish and re barrel of stock offered barrel lengths in that particular model/caliber.

Why does the cylinder not have the same finish as the frame?
@KH-rt3ef Жыл бұрын
They most often do not. Historically it’s because they were not machined and finished together; the frame required extra carbon hardness while other parts did not, at least, not enough for it to make the production process more expensive than necessary.

There are a shit ton of perfectly rotting like they died yesterday mammoths in Russia I think, or used to be ussr way up north. Where the ice is melting because of the perfectly normal changing of the earths temperature.
