How far can the Browning A5 hit a target? I'm looking for a shotgun that can hit turkey up in a tree that about 60 yards in distance.

Really you need to look at what choke you are using and shotshell (lead, steel, tungsten, bismuth, etc… all tend to shoot different.) The a5 and many other guns suited for turkeys have a 3.5in chamber allowing for more shot down range per pull of the trigger. With the correct choke x-full or a Turkey choke, correct shotshell, and good aim you should have no problem

This 'kinematic drive system' in the new a5 is the same as the benelli inertial system? It looks to operate the exact same way *Edit* It's the same as the benelli system. Benelli's patent expired in 2006.

Matthew Griffin that’s the hard part about inertia guns. They only like certain shells. This is true with stoeger, Benelli (especially them), franchi, and older Remington.

@@addisonestes1219 people don't understand with the inertia you can't be lazy with holstering to your shoulder, you need to have the butt tight to the shoulder for the system to enable correctly.

If you are looking for an expensive single shot jam-o-matic the A5 is for you! Take this as a warning. Browning owes me the money I lost on the trade. The new A5 is hot garbage.

@Rusty Shackleford I did all of the above more than once. Hey troll how long have you been on the browning payroll. Just google NEW A5 BROWNING shotgun problems. It not just me bro its a lot of us. IMO way to many for a shotgun that costs $1500.

is crazy i have this gun 5 years now and only have 1 jam about 1000 shots maby you got bad luck with lemon, i used 24g shells to 64g 3.5 no issues. my maverick 88 giv me more problems to be honest. this inertia sistems you need to press good the gun in shoulder to operate well

With the inertia system, you can't be lazy while you holster to your shoukder, you must have the butt tight to your shoulder for the system to enable properly(and eject your shell). Which is different from gas which uses strictly the energy from the shell. With the inertia, the system is relying on a spring, which if not placed on a solid foundation i.e. your shoulder, the spring won't function as designed.
