Those Browning 1911-22’s are nice little pistol. I have a pair of Sigs in the 1911-22. Like you said fun guns to practice with. Another one that comes to mind, is GSG 1911-22, they made them for Sig. lots of upgrades available for them. Just like other 22’s, they have a certain brand that it likes.

Great gun, have had one for years. Good for range and pocket carry. New shooters seem to like it better than a ruger mark iv

I bought a full-length model of the Browning 1911 - 22 but I bought the "Black Label Edition" instead of the Plain Jane version. The Black Label Edition has taller sights sticking out making it easier for me to shoot. I bought it because I have a bunch of 1911 in .45 and 9mm and I became tired of spending large dollars on ammunition. So I decided to buy the 22 model of Browning. I bought it because the reviews said it would fire any .22 ammunition without flaws and it does. After checking out the accuracy of it with match ammo I decided to test it with a bunch of mix and match ammo in the same magazine so I poured a bunch of rounds from 10 different boxes of ammo of all types of .22 long rifle and loaded up my 8 magazines and the pistol fired every one of them without a flaw. Funny side note: I knew I was going to be eventually purchasing the Browning 1911 - 22, but I was waiting to find the one I wanted, which took about 6 months. But a few months before I purchased it ,I was at my local gun store digging through their bins of 75% off products ,and I came upon 7 brand new, still in the blister package Browning 1911-22 magazines priced at $49.99 each. I grabbed all seven of them and bought them for $12.50 a piece even though I didn't even own the gun yet. So now i have the gun AND 8 magazines to go with it,lol

How far was you shooting? 25yds is probably a stretch for the short lite barrel. It is definitely not a target pistol but good enough to have some fun with.

Great video Chris. Have you ever tried Aguila 40 gr super ? That's what i use in my Rossi rs, ruger 22/45 and my lever abd revolver 22's. They work fine for me and are less expensive.

I have not tried any of Aguila ammo. It is not readily available locally. I have heard it is great ammo. 22 ammo has been coming back but with all the crap going on in the world right now I am worried another ammo crunch is coming. Thanks for all of your great comments Russ

Hey Chris, I have that exact same gun! Mine has functioned flawlessly with all sorts of ammo. CCI is my favorites “go to” ammo. Yes Mini Mags, but mine also like CCI standard velocity ammo and it’s very accurate stuff. When I go shed antler hunting in the spring, I throw that little Browning in my jacket pocket. At some point, I’ll make a holster for it. My granddaughter loves to shoot the rimfire dueling tree with it.

Generally speaking theses little autos are ammo pick. I think just try a few different types and you will fine one that works. Thanks for watching

Update got one of these yesterday and it run everything I put in it had 1 Failure to feed my fault round was not in the magazine right otherwise it run over 150 rounds not 1 problem.

Also be careful I had one and they are so small if you have big hands you WILL get hammer bite it doesn’t hurt but it is annoying
