Had this same shotgun in the composite Stalker version chambered in 3.5 n I love it. It really does the job on my first day on doves season open.

Grew up learning on the old A5, still have a couple in perfect working condition. One older A5 Light the only took 2 3/4 and a slightly newer but still old that takes up too 3 inch. Last year I got a sweet estate sale deal on a "used only once" new Browning Silver in camo wrap for 600$. It is an awsome gun with hardly any kick that takes 3 1/2 inch but do yo know what I do not like shooting it!! It doesn't have the speed loading option which I absolutely love and it is not a humpback. Once you get used to the humpback and how quickly you can acquire the bead and pick up the target you have a hard time going to any other gun. This demand is why they are coming out with the new A5.

i have this shotgun|| 3.5" chanber no problems SO FAR EATS ALL FROM 24G TO 64 GRAMS SHOT. no jams!! better than benelli SBE and half money. LOVE IT!! i sell my sx3 for buy this one!! very good upgrade the sx3 very dirty!!lots of time and work and money in oil for clean the gaz gun. the recoil in browning same as sx3 the browning recoil pad is awesome!! my 300wm Abolt kick 2x much than the a5 with 3.5 and my double barrel kicks harder also

When Browning starts building the new A-5 in 20ga.,I'll buy one,the 3.5" chambered 12's are absolutely ridiculous and should have went out with the 10ga.years ago.Browning needs to also build a"light"and a"standard"model model again also.I'm not much of a fan of aluminum receivers and would much prefer a machined steel receiver.

Excuse me, but the ten gauge did not "Go out". This is a shotgun only area, yet there are two openings every year for black bear. "The Mighty Ten Gauge" is a book you might read with great profit.

I just picked up my A5 yesterday. Put 80 rounds of target loads through it and she works smooth. I can't wait to try it out on ducks.

So if it pulls it down and out of the way of the face "cheek" as set up for right handed shooters. how does the inflex pad do that if you change the safety for a left handed shooter? seems like the pad would pull it down and towards the cheek?

Damn it !!!! NO MAGAZINE CUT OFF !!!!! Boo Boo..... I have been hunting every year,waterfowl, since 1980 with my Auto 5.... I picked up a new A-5 and I like it a lot.. I may have to retire the BB gun that has put a lot of birds on the ground.. Sill I am going to wait and see if this holds up.. This new gun has got a lot to live up to..

2 of the 3 reviewers in this video are left hand shooters and yet Browning doesn't offer a LH model… as a south paw I'm disappointed

Nice shotgun but I can't justify dropping $1100 or so for it. I have two Belgian made Auto 5s that are older then me that are built like a Tiger tank and run like a dream.

My pop and grand pop used Remingtons plus a load of other cheap double barrels. Back then people just wanted meat on table and didnt have money for fancy auto loading shot guns. At least my family didnt.

Sure why couldn't it be used for dove you can use every gun for dove only the old a5 was a very long and pretty heavy gun so that's not an adventege but we got a a5 from 1964 so that's an ol semi auto but it works fine! they go for a lifetime :) i am dutch so i hope you understand my english

ha! ha!! ....I shot a deer over the weekend with my New 3 1/2 A5...I love it......If I was a chick this would be the smoothest vibrator on the market up too date... Was going to get a benelli but after holding this gun it was no turning back.....Cycled all rounds from 23/4 to 31/2 and slugs great.
